Hi ChristyMammy,

How old are your kid?  I live in Yeung Long, but my mother in-law is take care my baby, she lives in Tuen Mun.  I will arrange my kid to study N1 in Tuen Mun, then I want to send him to Kowloon for study K1, same as you.  

However, I will have many problems to solve.
1.  I will have to sell my flat.
2.  If I move to Kowloon, who help us to take care  the kid.

Which kindergardent in Kowloon is your favourite?

Hi Fionyiu,

my situation is similar to yours... i'm living in TM, and my parents as well, bb is taken care by my parents now. We have planned to let bb to study Primary School in Kln, so he must switch to a Kln kindergarten for k3, the latest. at that time we must move to Kln, but the same Qs: who to take care of bb?

and the flats in Kln are much more expensive than TM...

so, what is your plan? and Christymammy?

我本身係ｆｕｌｌ－ｔｉｍｅ　媽咪，所以照顧ｂｂ方面無問題（不過平時都要媽咪ｈｅｌｐ我，因女女這時期太頑皮，所以搬家後都會好辛苦）
屋方面都無問題，因我住梗這屋是租，不過九龍d租貴好多，唯有慳ｄ洗
我女女２０個月大，２００５讀ｎ１，ｋ１先搬，ｋ１心水：靈糧堂（Diamond Hill) , HK Preschool & Victoria 你們覺得如何？

I am not a full-time mum.  If my baby go to Kowloon Tong for study, I have two options:

1/ If his grandfather is okay, every day I bring him to school and his grandfather bring him back to home.  But the baby will tried very much.

2/  I move to Kowloon and quite my job.

1) 如果你打算唔搬日日由屯門出九龍塘讀書,bb一定好辛苦而且會無興趣去學習(因為已經十分累)可能會討厭返學!
2)如果你搬出九龍,你可以唸下要bb讀全日班,另外請鐘點help你煮飯or請工人(不過會唔放心)
St.Teresa &根德園我覺得太傳統,因我女女好動所以唔唸.
york我都會報,迦南我唔太清楚,我主要想報d有一個中文&一個外籍miss既學校

Hi,
I live in Y.L. and my son is now studying in Kowloon Tong. And I drive him to school and go home everyday. Actually, its fine for my son to study in Kowloon Tong, he just has i little tire at the first week but now he is totally 適應 his school life and he learns very well.

我都住0係屯門...我都諗住俾囡囡去kowloon讀書....可能我自己由細到大都係日日由屯門出kln返學,習慣左我就唔覺得辛苦....我諗住到時自己湊佢返學囉...希望佢唔會覺得辛苦啦..

I've also thought of bring bb to school by myself before going to work, and his grandpa to bring him home after school, but grandpa may get too tired ga la. in fact my bb is 11 mths only and i still have time to think... how old is your son? and is bb's grandpa ok for the arrangement?

我兩個小朋友每日都由天水圍去九龍城番學，佢地冇野喎，每日仲好開心tim，因我每天都可以同佢地一齊坐巴士，去荃灣坐保姆車，跟住我先至去番工，開心過以前由印印湊佢地喺樓下番學，因喺樓下番學可以好遲出門口，我已經番咗工，湊唔到佢地，而且冇咗印印貼身照顧，我覺得佢地EQ高咗!

兩個小朋友都係番半日，因嫲嫲住荃灣，平時爺爺每日都會喺荃灣巴士站等我，幫手拖一個，一齊行去校車站上車，放學去嫲嫲度食飯，而保姆車喺荃灣上車同落車，佢地食完飯，嫲嫲同爺爺會同我湊番佢地入天水圍，有時(多數係星期五，因第二日唔使番學)佢地會留喺嫲嫲度，等我放工，食完飯先至番屋企，其實辛苦就一定有，但我見佢地都好鍾意間學校，我成日問佢地辛唔辛苦，如果辛苦就喺番天水圍讀書，佢地兩個都話唔好，佢地話一d都唔辛苦，我覺得最主要睇下間學校值唔值得由新界出去番學，同埋咁樣番學都唔係長遠計，我都計劃緊搬番出九龍，而家只係暫時性，此終大家都辛苦，同埋出年佢地將會一個番上午班，一個番下午班!

你的小朋友讀邊間幼稚園呀?  你是否由k1開始已經這樣帶他們返學.  要幾多點起身呀?  另外校車會係荃灣邊度上車架?  可否俾多d意見我地.  謝謝.

I also I have more time to think and plan because my son is a baby,  hehe, he is only 2 month and 3 weeks old.  I will send him to study N1 in Tuen Mun.

I have not asked his grandpa yet.  If he does not accept, I will quite my job.

Do you know any kindergarten is good in Tuen Mun?

我反而由n1俾佢去九龍讀, 我想佢讀間我滿意的 - 佢無壓力又學到野仲想佢以後鍾意讀書(佢學到的野好多, 連周末我都唔洗同佢去playgroup), 我又唔洗擔心老師質素, 因為我揀過屯門同其他, n1實在年紀細, 我個仔在屯門in已經在課室被人推跌兩次, 自己跌一次仲要係有阿姐看住佢, 但佢話我個仔坐唔定wor(我知個仔未識坐果d四枝幼鐵腳的椅)

...我個仔好早起身, 早上好有精神, 我返工會帶埋佢坐車出九龍, 我家人會送佢去學校, 佢無功課下午全時間休息同玩, 所以我放工入番屯門都ok, 大d反而要考慮...仲有一個保障係幼稚園讀得好/程度好, 第日唔搬出去都可以考番入屯門小學啫.

It seems that your bb's kdgns are both v. good wor, can you tell us the name of the kdgn and where they are?

byychan, can you tell us which kdgn in TM in which your son was pushed down for our reference?

I've visited Salvation Army Nursery in Sam-Shing on their open day. this nursery receives quite good comments... at least i haven't heard of negative comments on its teaching aspect. it's a bit old and small, but the teachers are quite nice. the open day was for current students and potential students as well. i noticed that they are very nice to the current students, and it seems that the students love the teachers, too. so i think they are not pretended to be good teachers. but it is over-subscribed every year, so if you are interested you'd better send the application form earlier la.

it is said that SKH St' Peter kdgns, both Siu Lung & Castle Peak, are quite good, but no time to visit them yet.

other Mammies, any suggestions?

我兩個小朋友喺九龍城民生幼稚園讀書，早上七點鐘起身，七點半出門口，七點七嗰班巴士，八點一到荃灣，慢慢行去綠楊新村上車，去到車站大概八點三，保姆車大概八點五到，可以坐一陣等校車，時間好鬆動，一d都唔趕，不過我送佢地去到校車站，安頓好佢地我就走先，因趕住去返工，由爺爺陪他們等校車，佢地係今年先至去民生讀書，大o既讀k2，細o既讀k1，以前佢地喺天水圍的幼稚園讀k1同nursury，間學校都好好，所以如果佢地唔適應，我會番去以前間學校讀書。

How about Oscar kdgns?  Do you know any comments?

I visited 富健花園聖德肋撒幼稚園, the school is not big, the teachers are nice.  The teachers told me that their standard is higher than other TM school.  

I want to find a tradtional school for my kid.  How about you??
