事緣係報左呢兩間, 但 interview 的時間撞左, 結果兩間只能揀一間去 interview...

我會揀真光
無測無考都教到中文好叻(中文好難學的!), 活動教學, 校園較大又有戶外空間, 老師有愛心又資歷夠學校行政穩陣, 唯一缺點係英文麻麻要自己出去學(出去學英文易搵過出去學中文)

而且真光小學比st clare's難入........

Agree with Charlotte_mom too.  However, if you eventually consider TL to be the one that you will attend the interview, then may be can try contact St. Clare's and see if can re-arrange the interview time.  Nothing to lose if you couldn't make the interview anyway.  The TL interview will take some time so better reserve around 45mins at least.

Just to add on top of Charlotte_mom's comments, personally I also think Chinese is a more complex language over English.  However, I know this may not be the direction for all parents so the line between these two kindergartens will be TL's primary school is Chinese teaching while St. Clare's will be using English, where some parents would prefer this.  I think this is totally a personal so hopefully this help you too.

Why TL is more difficult to enter than St. Claire?  I know that TL has 120 places but St. Clare has only 60...

The answer to this question could be very sensitive.

However, use other kindergartens as example in last year.  For Pui Ching, there are 240 seats but there are around 2600-2700 applicants last year, so the ratio is 1:11.  For Kentville, they can accept around 630 students (just an approximate) and there were about 4000-5000 applicants last year, so the ratio is around 1:7.  Both of these kindergartens accept a lot more students but the acceptance ratio is the factor to consider, not the number of seats available.

無錯, 係競爭性既問題......
雖然真光都未算一線超級名校(唔好鬧呀, 我女都係真光出黎架), 但係想入都唔係易, 而可能中西區多好學校啦, ST CLARE'S比較易入(都唔好鬧呀, 我女都差D去左SC讀小學架, SC英文的確係好好的), 就算6月大抽獎後都有位叩門

大坑真光-我女係舊生,有好嘅幼稚園回憶...仲可以直升原校小一,

最重要係學校仲會比家長試政府派位大抽獎, 派唔到滿意學校, 真光都會全收!!!!!!!Good!!
