My girl also said Mrs. Dai was busy to read the document and wrote down somehting. She didn't have any eye-contact with my girl. May be your girl is very attractive so Mrs. Dai liked to look at her.

Anybody know how long the annocement date after the interview last year? Was the date as late as this year?

i guess it will be soon to announce the result as 2nd interview is completed yesterday. i guess dgjs will send out acceptance letter and see who will come to register. then if some do not come to register (e.g. accepted by st paul co-ed...., i think dgjs also need to compete students with st paul co-ed, etc as they announce result on or before 23 nov), then they will call the 109th, 110th, 111th... until all 108 places are filled. after all 108 places are filled, they will send out reject letter on 19 dec.
may also be possible to call the school to ask when acceptance letter will be send out first.

I think they also have to compete with the 'Luck draw" because some schools like Marynoll are also good and no need to pay the high school fee

just wonder why we should not thank god that we are fortunate to have the chance for 2nd interview. seems there are unhappy folks in the threats who prefer to engaged in somewhat meaningless agruments (friendly though) in topics of how to dress and what are the right percentions of others. may be this agrumentative posture will pass on to our daugthers, which dont really think should pick up.

Maybe it is one of the ways to release stress. Anxious parents may want to talk more on the topic, but then very quickly, major issues have been discussed over and over again. Then the discussions will move onto minor details and trivia, just to keep the conversation going for keeping oneself sane during this stressful period.

But true, getting into 2nd interview is already some kind of gift from above. Besides performance and achievements, luck and blessing would also be needed during the whole process.

Yes, I feel thankful too. At least my family has got the chance to meet with Mrs. Dai. Even if we fail at last, it is her decision but not the teachers' decision.

I saw one on Nov 2 during 2nd in. It must be some kind of culture for CCKG student to wear uniform to interviews. Interesting !!

Of course no one would know how Mrs Dai will pick the girls. Only she knows. However as parents, we are undergoing tremendous pressure in getting a seat to the school. Just to share the thought to release the pressure here. One more good thing is that all parents show their passion to the school. Hope that there will be good news to all of us soon.

Also concern the annoancement date is in conflict with my travel plan during Xmas/New Year. Their school calendar doesn't seem to be on their website. Anyone know when they start the Xmas/New Year break and when they start the 2nd part of the school year ?
