I'm one of those who read and reply to this thread as we're all waiting for 2nd round result. No doubt that DGJS is a brilliant school, but as parents to be (if lucky enough) I have to be realistic, as I won't expect my child to achieve the highest academics all the times. This is about managing expectations.

Anyway, good luck to us all.

Still have two weeks to go for the result from DGJS. By the way, can anyone share who also get the offer from SPCC. I am one of the lucky guy.

I think whether it is a pressure or not will depend on the character of the individual. Some one will see competition as a joyful game and some will see it as pressure. So, I think it is important to know your kid's characteristics and how to make them interested in the way of teaching methods in any particular school.

Yes, this is how some ppl deal with pressure, they treat it like a "challenge" everytime they see "pressure" and they enjoy the process. This really depends on one's characters and EQ. Parents do play a role here as well.

Does any mum know DGJS will announce the result on Dec19 in one batch or some will get offer letter earlier than that day..?

Two years ago, the official annoucement day was a Friday. But someone received letters on Thur, Fri and Sat. I received the acceptance letter on Sat.
