I've applied the following UK schools:

1.Bishop's Stortford College
2.Burgess Hill School for Girls
3.Haberdashers' Monmouth School
4.Talbot Heath School
5.Truro High school
6.Ipswich School

I will have the entrance exams of 1,2,3 in late Dec. or Jan..
I've had taken the exams of 4, but still waiting for the result.
5 & 6 have offered me a place already, and the acceptance deadlines are 22Dec and 15Jan respectively.

It's really hard for me to make a decision now as I haven't taken all the tests yet and need to decide whether I should accept 5 very soon.

Could any experienced one help me??
Tell me sth about these schools and which is/are the best for 6th form if you or any of your fds have been studing in UK or these schools. Also do you think that I should accept 5 & 6???? Thx a lot!!!! ^^

(Actually, I want to have a visit to some of the schools when most of them have offered me, but now......)

Hi, I used to study in UK for A-Level and University, let me pass your message to my teacher in A-level and ask for the recommandation.

Hi, I just received my teacher's reply:

"Don't accept 5 or 6 as they are average schools, but in the middle of nowhere.. The best in the list is habers in monmouthshire, though they are selective and will only take the best. Depends how good a student you are. It is also fairly remote and they combine some of their sixth form studies with the boys school. How have you chosen these schools? They are a strange mix!"

Would you also pls advise me which of the following UK schools is better for my son to study in 6th form with science subjects? They are all give offers to my son and the deadline is late Dec.

1. Bedford School (Boys)
2. Berkhamsted Collegiate School
3. Kingswood School, Bath

thank you for your help.
Actually, the agent has given 13 schools for me to choose and I just pick up these schools which are in my parents' budget and their a-level results are also quiet good. Also, it is because my brother had studied in 6 and he had a happy school life there and got 3A in a-level. That's why my parents also want me to try.

O.. it seems that 3 is really gd. And did your teacher tell you about 1,2 and 4? as they are my favourits originally.

Hi,

I dun think 1,2 and 4 are very outstsanding school, thats y my teacher didnt mention anout them. Whats your parents budget? Let me know and I can ask my teacher for some recommandation.
