我都是想分享一下我的所見所聞, 文靜學生又好, 活躍學生又好, 只要interview 時識乖, 在適當的場合做適當的事就可以了, 我都同意考DBS真是要靠小小運氣, 始終都是小朋友, 撞正心情唔好既時候, 真係很難控制.

也聽聞DBS的英文程度好深, 我仔仔的幼稚園以中文 (仲要係廣東話) 為主, 所以我也好驚, 好擔心!

唔止DBS，考邊間小學都係，有實力之外，運氣都絕對重要．

agree!!
眼見身邊好多家長, 小朋友為今次的P.1入學所帶來的壓力好大, 千祈唔好為小朋友考進某類小學而為該小朋友而定Grade, 身邊好多人都替我小兒入了DBS而高興, 問我有mud祕訣, 我相信真係無祕訣可言, 試問有幾多考入o既人真係預先捉倒路wor, 除非你識人la.
學海無崖,小朋友讀書慢慢長路, 何況而家才是剛開始. 我識好多成功人士都不是名校出身啦!!!
我反而開始擔心同聽聞過, DBS 學生個個都有自視過高tim. 真係要比心機教仔LU.......

Just glad to find some others sharing the same worries with me after being admitted. Apart from the gladness, I just think that the real challenge is still ahead. Add oil to us all la!!!

I have been hearing all kinds of comments from people around me about this school, many positive but some negative too. But the most common one is that it depends on the child himself. Some really need to go to tutorial centers and have a lot of extra lessons to meet the requirement, some seem to be more relaxed...

Let's see. An exciting journey is going to start. Really hope I'll get to know some other parents soon. ^^

I too share your thinking... I think we are happy that our son got into dbspd, and relieved that our p1 applications has ended. However, we realise this is only the beginning, the road is long ahead. And we, as parents, and our son has many many things to do and to learn. Getting into dbspd does not guarantee our son will turn out great, but really, like any other school he will have to do a lot of hard work and try his best. Also, each school has its pros and cons. Hopefully, we will be able to work with the school and support/teach our son however we can. No matter which school he goes to, we are still his teachers and guides about values, attitude, self-management, and eq, etc.

Anyhow, we are eagerly waiting for the start of his primary journey this september.

Hope we will have a chance to meet and share more in the future!
