請問GC PHONICS 同東西PHONICS 邊套好? 分別在那裡? 除以上教材, 還有那一套PHONICS 好呢? 謝謝!

其實phonics 只係會o係short term 等小朋友可以拚音讀字, 但長遠黎講phonics未必幫到佢, 反而會學壞左個方法, 因為好多字係唔可以靠拚音讀, eg. abalone.
phonics 係for d native speaking o既小朋友, 對中國人幫助唔太大, 始終讀英文字最可靠o既係phonetic symbols唔係phonics.

連大人都記唔到喇
但phonics又係咪真係有用?
邊個教材好?

我覺得phonics是給幼稚園同初小的小朋友學.  佢地一開左竅, 識blending就開始可以自己睇書.  佢地好大成功感.
我囡k2已經識睇ort level 3 & 4的書.  識讀之後, 就好快認到d字.  現在初小, 都是用phonics的theory同佢溫默書.

再大d, 再識多d字.  等佢發現phonics唔夠時, 就會再同佢佢學phonetic.
就算識phonetic, 英文都有好多特別除外的讀音, 到時佢都要c記.

Age of 3 or under to learn the phonetic is too early, normal starting at age 5.

英文主要是表音文字,需多聆聽、朗讀；掌握拼音是學習英語的最基礎。

The phonics method is probably the best known and widely used method to teach reading and writing in the English language. It relies on children being taught the alphabet first. They learn the names of the letters and the sounds they make. Once they have learnt the letter sounds they will begin to blend two letters together to make simple words then three letters, then four and so forth.

NICHD : National Institute of Child Health & Human Development, USA :“The panel found that the research conducted to date strongly supports the concept that explicitly and systematically teaching children to manipulate phonemes significantly improves children's reading and spelling abilities. The evidence for this is so clear cut that this method should be an important component of classroom reading instruction.”
