今年中一的分班試特別重要,因為升中banding的百分比是每兩年revise一次的, 而第一次是在2008年(小兒的那一届)!!!
務請今届畢業的同學多多努力, 為來年的師弟師妹爭取更多的band1名額!!也好為母校增光!!!

LSC每級共有７班, 每班40人, 共280人一級ｏ中四開始便分精英班, 共有２班;祗有全級頭80名才可進入. 2008年CE時,二班精英班一共出了四個10A, 30多位尖子(6A或以上),可以說是LSC中的Best of the Best. 而其他各班則成績平平!

LSC每班40人?我以為得36人,因為第一輪自行收生30%76人, 即以為全級252人
另外入到精英班既真係唔簡單,要好比心機努力讀書

我同事告訴我其他派了中中所以唔登出來，如信義等等，band one% 好似唔夠50%。

even 07-08 and 08-09 total only around 14x, seems total should be 14x even not 160.

Hi Moyan,

Congratulate your son for getting into a good school.

Would like to see if you have any ideas about the following:

1) As far as I know, Education Bureau only lets secondary schools know the banding of the students. They shouldn’t have exact ranking of the students at school. However, we always hear that those top Band 1 schools only grant interviews to top students at primary schools. Then, how can they know the exact ranking of students? By submission of school reports only or any other supporting documents?

2) There are quite a number of students admitted to Wah Yan (KLN), La Salle and Elizabeth this year. Do you have any ideas whether majority of them were given the interviews at first round or were most of them admitted by lucky draw?

3) If a boy is ranked at 20 something in P5, do you have any ideas which schools are more likely to extend interviews to them? I understand it also depends on other circumstances, like any special talents. Just would like to have an idea.

4) ) How about Marymount? It seems it also accepts quite a number of girls from TSL. Do you have any ideas what type of students are they looking for?
