偶然在youtube上看到危險心靈的片斷,才知道這書被拍成電視劇.

看罷,有了另一種感受,和看書很不同.劇集給我的感覺是:
導致教育問題的元凶,正正是一堆望子成龍的家長.
而這,也是華人社會的普遍現象.
我們的教育政策,有許多冠冕堂皇的禁令.然而實際操作上卻是大家都儘量走小道,務求在政策下撈到最大好處.
這園地的討論,也常跟著這圈子走,一大堆的老生常談.呼呼嚷嚷,有些人仍是原地踏步.一個唉字以終結.
uncleedward在何不食肉糜一篇討論中,出國真的是一條容易的道路嗎?
記憶中的外國大學,都是易入難出,特別是德國.
而香港學生,在考試的能力上,是偏高的,有數據証明以較香港低的成績入到外國名校,但有數據去統計他們的成就嗎?
女兒在英國一年了,我已感覺到她的思維變化.思考的層面廣了,層次也深了,為什麼不經常出現在我和她的討論中.我同時亦很清楚,她考試能力,降低了,學習進度和香港比較,慢了.但我卻是高興的.

This term we have covered data handling, curved graphs and simultaneous equations. In data handling
pupils have learned how to estimate the mean from a frequency table, to produce a ‘stem and leaf’ diagram,
and to explore bi-variate continuous data through scatter plots. Correlation and lines of best fit have also
been included. All pupils have learned to calculate points on a quadratic curve and to plot quadratic graphs.
Simultaneous linear equations have been solved by plotting straight lines and finding points of intersection.
There was a period for revision of the year’s work and a common exam for all sets during week 9.
I am pleased to report that Penny did make a few improvements in terms of her efforts in the classroom this
term. She has never been a difficult pupil but I really do want her to become a little more pro-active,
especially when it comes to voicing her own thoughts. Her 88% in the end of year examination is a solid
result and one that I hope will go some way to reassuring her of her ability in this subject, something she
appears to doubt from time to time.
老師要教什麼,同學表現如何,有什麼要改善,每一科,每次考試,都有這樣的報告.這樣,女兒慢慢會找出她的個性,亦因此知道她想走的路.老師教那麼一點點,卻花了那麼多的時間,但真正的教材,我體會到那是辯証過程的訓練.發問才是知識的起源,香港教育就祗會跳過過程,直接去到終結----答案.
我沒有膽量在香港不隨波逐流,所以祗有選擇逃跑,是俗辣吧?不過,我給大家一個想法,出國也許是不錯的想法.但出國就不必要把香港的一套,也搬過去.一個以考試為一切的想法,祗會在華人社會壯大而矣. |
