希望可以分享少少經歷給你作為參考, 我上年叫我的小朋友帶自己最喜的，因為如果他不喜歡迫他都無用，而且或會影响表現。
我記得我小朋友提及，林校長要他讀一本書中或英都可以，隋他自己選擇，只是讀咗一頁書，我問他其他小朋友呢？有Ｄ讀一頁，有Ｄ讀兩頁。可能視乎多字與否。而我小朋友就讀出來，但其實這也不是重點，因我小朋友對自己選擇的書巳很熟。我相信林校長最主要看小朋友的表達能力和平時喜歡看書與否，以及應對能力，因林校長會與小朋友交談。
同時林校長可能比較喜歡記性好的小朋友，記得要小朋友留意林校長講話，可能對當天及最後一輪面試有幫助。

heard that only children who are asked to read a lot (eg. read both books, as my friend's kid did) will have a good chance....

i am very upset hearing this, bcuz mine only read two pages, though his reader is about junior primary level

我仔仔上只是讀了中文的幾頁, 不是同時讀中及英. 所以, 唔使咁擔心. 既然已經面試了, 就放下擔心, 等十二月出結果. 到時睇下同呢間學校有冇緣份.

今天已公佈消息，見到約有350小朋友通過了第二次面試。
在這裡都想一問，請教有經驗的家長。第三次的面試，校長與家長見面的形式是怎樣的呢？

My son was asked to read 3 pages only and was granted 2nd interview.

My son has read 4 pages of Chinese story book and is shortlisted for the final interview.

His classmate has read both Chinese and English books but is not shortlisted.

While I don't exactly know how the Headmistress score the candidates in the interview, I believe it is not based on how many pages/books have been read. She should have focused on attributes that cannot be boosted in short term before the interview.

我其實不太清楚小兒讀了多少，因那天我們不小心遺漏了準備好的兩本書在車上（剛在地鐵香港站正要開車時發現的）！那種無助感直湧心頭，雖然我們已十分抑制，但兒子亦似乎意識到問題的嚴重性而表現得十分失落。我們知道他很認真選擇了這兩本書與林校長分享，此外該兩本書是他其中的至愛。

我們一向有帶書外出的習慣，但那次三本都是中文的，好不容易在短短車程中他已揀選了其中一本，心想到了學校應可借到一本英文的。

登記完成後，我向那女職員說明情況並希望借書，但她說讀一本中文書都可以，那亦沒辦法了。遠遠看到兒子坐在牆邊目光呆滯的等待，那女職員示意我上前，原來女職員叫他試讀時，我兒並無有反應，坐在他旁的小朋友卻說：「哈，佢唔識讀喎..... 我靜係識讀呢兩個字咋。」那刻心情恐怕沒齒難忘！其實我知他是全懂得書中的字，但他一言不語及恍惚的眼神使我意識到他仍很想念失去的書籍，那時我真的覺得對他十分虧欠！我只做了兩件事：一，拜託女職員跟校長說明書本遺漏了的情況；二，對兒子說了些鼓勵的話。不久，他們便被安排進去了。

太太一個人先行離開了，我看出她的不悅、無奈，而我更覺萬分內疚。一會兒後，我們在走廊遇上，她像想通了一樣的跟我講，也許我們與英華無緣，不要緊的！神似乎讓我們明白祂的旨意....

回到等候的房間，不久亦看到小朋友們從校長室出來。從遠處看見兒子臉帶笑容、手持一張紙（原來是在裏面畫的圖畫），相信他已享受了與校長的「約會」，我們亦沒有向他大逼供，因覺得沒有這必要，反而是他告訴我們校長有兩個公仔，十分有趣。我們問他是否喜歡林校長，他大大的點了頭。

感謝神，小兒有幸進入第二階段面試。但姑勿論最終成功與否，我們覺得他已是我們最棒的兒子，此外，我相信校長以愛心及同理心去對待小孩子，否則我兒肯定已無緣進級了。

看到你們的分享很是感動，你們的處理手法十分合理，相信你的兒子在進入校長室後獲得了鼓勵而能夠順利完成面試過程，兒子的EQ亦相當高（因為我相信有的小朋友可能會因此而吵鬧）。祝你們在2nd in成功！

謝謝！我兒的EQ其實真的不高，因他常有自己的想法而不會輕易跟隨我們或師長們的指示，所以他那天沒有哭鬧真的是一大進步，況且我本身不是YW的舊生，小兒遇到如此突發事件仍能進入2nd int實有點意外。但一如你所講，我是相信林校長確有本領去motivate和鼓勵孩子的。

For final interview, the principal will chat casually with the applicant and the parents arlternately.

For the kid, she would keep asking the something happened in the 2nd round interview such as asking the kid to sort out the thing that he saw in the 2nd round interview, what they had done. Also, she would ask some questions for checking the kid's cognitive level. (Maybe, Principal Lam loves kids who are observant and have a retentive memory)

For parent, she would ask some typical Qs such as "how would you choose a siutable school for your kid?", " What is the meaning of your son's name?", " "How would you describe your kid's character? etc.
