yypapa,
Yes, I always ask my child to spend adequate efforts in doing things.
If the outcome is good, it’s bonus.
Don’t take it for granted that one must get good results even though one has try the utmost.
Luck does play the most critical role in every success.
Sometimes, even though one fails after spending the greatest efforts, one still gains something.
Our children need to understand that it’s a learning process.
They need to learn how to face both success and failure.
The earlier they know how to face failure, the more mature they will become and thereby, laying a solid foundation for their future growth.
For any tests and examinations, I notice that careless mistakes are very common among our children, not only for P1-P2 pupils, but also for pupils of senior grades.
If they are careful enough every time, some marks need not to be deducted.
Therefore, please suggest your child to make good use of the remaining time during tests/examinations to double check all the questions and answers as much as possible.
