Honestly, if a LS boy is admitted to LS secondary straight, he must have good academic performance and surely he has lots of choices of famous secondary schools like King's, Wah Yan.
In other words, a boy who performs very well can enter most of the famous secondary schools including LS.
So, what make everybody so desperate to go for LS primary ?

If you are top 80 in LS, you are 100% sure to go to LS College. Of course many other schools will accept you as well.

If you are top 81 to 180, you have to join lucky draw for LS College but the chance is still 75%.

If you are top 181 or after in LS, you have not chance to got o LS College.

Frankly, the top 80s don’t mean that will be top forever.
A lot of top 81 to 180 are catching up very quickly in Form 2 or Form 3.

Any ideas for those rank 81-180 go if they cannot get a place at LSC?

想問下, LS 有冇得叩門? IF YES, 會係幾時開始? 要衡量o的乜野先好去叩門呢?

但起碼有60%機會升上，其他無聯係中學嘅，恐怕成績中等都入唔到名中學。

60% is a misleading figure
Actually only < 40% when you count only those students admitted thro P1
Many P1 student drop out during P2-5 & LS recruit new students with good academic performance to make up the figure 60%

若果爸爸係舊生 + 係天主教徒 = 25分
首名子女<-- 如果計舊生分就無得計呢個

25分應該一定有份抽
問題去返呢條thread嘅題目: 有無人20都得?
如果有人20分嘅, 即係25分嘅收哂仲有位
如果無20分嘅, 即25分都要抽

大抽獎放磅之後咪有得叩門囉~
不過好似一定要第一round揀LS 1st choice喎 (有錯請更正!)
我估~ 要突圍, 小朋友一定係super smart, 中英文能力良好.. 最好有d獎狀.. 十項全能, KG時成績優異.. (呢d仔係咪應該已經有DB/YW/SPCC offer喺手呢?!)

For this year, only around 25 in this range can't go to the college and finally they accept 10 of them. This means only 15 of them didn't go to the college. I know two of them had been accept by other band 1 schools and have not idea for others.
