If they are to move to this new campus, that will mean our kids will be going to either this new campus at No. 2 Essex Crescent or the older campus at No. 49/51 Cumberland Road, which is also very new next year.

York's campus is a very attractive feature that I am willing to pay a higher tuition fee to send my kid there.

I wish my son can enter the international class in k1 also, anyway, let's see how's the study in N1 first.

By the way, i read from the post that your kid was born in 2010 Oct, which is the same as my son, so they will start the study in 2012 Nov, hope the teacher can give more care to the small B who join the class late. Do you think they would arrange a separate class for the small B? or just join the class with big B?

Will you join the playgroup in this Nov? I cannot join the playgroup, if they have playgroup next year, i will join.

Also, the school fee $45xx for PN is not expensive compare with other really expensive school like Yew Chung, and school fee for Think (which is not as good as York in my opinion) is already 5K, so i think it's ok.

Let's share if we have anything about York!!

約克獲批暫遷新校址
(綜合報道)(星島日報報道)被業主收回約道八號及十號校址的九龍塘約克英文小學暨幼稚園，申請遷往雅息士道二號繼續辦學，城市規劃委員會昨通過有關的改建用途申請，為期十八個月，之後會再評估校方提交的五項交通措施可行性，才決定是否繼續批准土地改作校舍之用。據了解，新校舍的內部裝修大致完成，學生最快能於明年二月始搬入，約五百名受影響的師生期間將安排分流到區內其他分校上課。
　　約克英文小學暨幼稚園於區內擁有五所幼稚園，其中位於約道八號及十號的分校去年底易主，新業主擬將土地發展成豪宅，向學校收回物業。為保五百名師生，校方隨即向城規會申請，將雅息士道二號改建用途為新校舍，但遭區內居民以交通擠逼為由反對，校方亦因「事件被政治化」主動撒回申請。
　　不過，為避免五百名師生失學及失業，校方早前自行聘請交通顧問，研究區內的交通擠塞問題，重新擬定五項疏通交通措施，包括推遲上課及放學時間半小時，以避過交通最擠塞的時間、學生上學放學均須乘搭校巴及公共交通工具、校車必須於校內位置上落學生，不佔用街道的泊車位置、確保校內有足夠的停泊和掉頭空間，以及校方將聘請交通督導員指揮校巴，並再次向城規會申請將雅息士道二號改建為新校舍。
　　雙方昨就最新的交通建議召開會議，經過近兩小時的商討，城規會最終通過校方的改建用途申請，批准學校將原為住宅用途的雅息士道二號改建為新校舍，為期十八個月，之後再監察校方是否能履行以上的交通措施，以及學校附近的交通狀況，再決定是否繼續批准學校在上址辦學。
　　據了解，校方最遲須於下周二遷出現時校址，雖然位於雅息士道二號的新校舍已大致完成內部裝修，但學生最快仍要明年二月才能遷往新校舍，校內五百名師生將受影響。在過渡期間，學校安排師生分流至辦學團體轄下的其他幼稚園上課。本報昨致電校方了解遷校安排，截稿前未有回覆。

I don't think anyone here can answer your two questions now as the school has not even announced to the parents currently have kids studying at York.

They may group K2 & 3 to new campus, or the local stream to new campus or?! There are too many options and I think the school is still deciding. No one knows yet...

因為我見到新聞話Essex Crescent新校要守一D交通rules，所以日後唔可以坐私家車返學（我有無get錯？）

Essex Crescent 距離火車站遠過舊有的York Road好多，火車站行到Essex Crescent要11分鐘，而York Road只需3分鐘，仲要抱住個BB日日行一趟來回，日後都幾辛苦下。

另一可能係加班,學費加太多的話,會減少york的competitiveness...

Thx Michelle! Your kid was also born in Oct 2010? I do hope they will separate big/ small kids into different classes as small B generally must be weaker than big B ! I dunno their plan yet!
I do love my kid to study in York ! Actually the school fee is not expensive compared with schools of similar grade. For commercial part, I do think most of the kindergartens are commercial too! If we can get what we have paid for, that 's enough for me already!

Michelle , I won't join their PG as too far away from my home and my kid is so small ( well ! The most important reason is I need to take her by myself ar hahaha!) .
