Could you mind to give more information:
Your children is K2 now st Delia so which primary school you will choose?
And what is the pass result of Delia.
I had asked the teacher how many children can get in the DSS school and the reply was some chilldren but have not any result post on the school board.

Thanks the below informations of how to choose the kindgarten from Ianstang parent:
Personally, I consider kindergarten as an institution to prepare for primary education.
So, considering which kindergarten to attend should be highly influenced by which primary schools are your targets.
However, in reality, only 60 primary schools can be targeted.
The rest of them, luck and faith will play a bigger role rather than which kindergarten your children will attend.

(Below information updated on 23/9/2011)
In Hong Kong, majority of primary schools are Government Aided (422) or Government (34).
Admission to these schools would be mainly through the Discretionary Places Admission (Points system) or Central Allocation (Geographically).
To be admitted to these primary schools, which kindergartens your children attend is NOT the MAIN consideration.
So, even you target these schools, you have little to affect the result except to move to that region and try your luck.

So, the remaining 61 primary school (40 are private and 21 are DSS) are what you really can try to put in the effort and control your children’s destiny.
Out of these 61 schools, only 24 of the private primary schools have RELATED kindergartens.
However, not all of them guarantee P1 admission to their kindergarten students without an interview

If parents want the children to get in the private or DSS or international school. For my personally Delia is not the best but is very good choose.

小朋友一時時, 心情好時唱歌, 唸詩, 爆幾句國語, 英文...我住葵涌, 校車是一人一個位坐.
我間中去學校偷望小朋友上堂, 簡直系2個人. 系學校見到小朋友好乖, 舉手答問題. 我個小朋友系屋企就naughty 到唔知點講. 一物治一物.

K1時, 學生比學生適應. 用廣東話和英文. 國語一星期一堂.
K2會全英文, 除國語堂.

我想, 我會比小朋友直上Delia (如果Delia收小朋友的話). 我會報多一間直資小學St. Margaret.
DSS, 英華正研究中.
我想報報多一間直資小學St. Margaret是因為有多一科外語. 希望小朋友大個時周圍闖一闖. 另一原因是小朋友有日本親戚, 和日本朋友仔.
DSS, 英華是很好的學校, 但我仍考慮報唔報是因為我覺得這2間學校比較傳統. (Compare to Delia).
我接受過本土, 美式教育, 我覺得2者各有好處, 但我prefer 美式教育. 最少我覺得美國Professor好玩d, 思維比較全面d, 肯和學生交流/交換意見...D Professor nice 到一齐去bar飲嘢...再者, D Professor 來自不同大學如Harvard, Columbia, University of New York, 佢地肯share experience的話, 就算不是終生受用, 但絕對有益.

You means Delia School of Canada or Delia Memorial School?
For my personally I will not choose the traditional school for my children.

其實考唔考直資小學, 要睇小朋友進展如何. 欲速則不達.
我唔介意小朋友考唔到直資小學, 亦唔介意校內成績不理想.
最重要是小朋友肯看書, 肯學, 肯問, 向自己興趣學習, 有個人/一技之長!
我以前都是讀區內Band 1中學, 日日唸書, 考試, 測驗, 可以用"折磨"來形容. 中三見家長, 因全級考尾五, comment 是活潑有餘, 勤力不足. 最後要應付學校, 媽打, 考好會考...這是我學習中最唔開心, 最難頂的日子. 雖然已經Master(9科A grade)畢業, 又如何? 沒有什麼大不了?
與其要小朋友考名校, 會考9A/10A, 不如等小朋友開心成長, 自己走自己的路.
純粹有感而發..

Wow! You are so great to get the 9科 A grade result.
As same as you, I really agree that I wish our children can get a happy life for learning.That is
why I'll not choose the traditional school.
The curriculum of DSS school are combination with International school and traditonal school,

My elder sister is very happy studying at DSS school now.

妳個大女好叻呀, 考到DSS.
希望妳的細女都入埋DSS啦.
邊間學校都好, 現在任何事物轉變好快, 小朋友未來會更多姿多彩. 佢地會有自己一套思維.
