If this really happened, we should be proud of our girls. At least they can get the chance of 2nd in when competing with so many big girls.

That's really disadvantageous to my girl who was born in 0608.....

However, like other parents here, I should be proud of her who could get the 2nd in chance out of nearly 2400 girls........

Really? P1 students means those are now is P1 but not K3? I think I am a little bit crazy but it is how I interpret it....

May I ask which 傳統一絛龍女校 in 銅鑼灣 ? Is it the one with Kindergarten & Nursery Day-care ? It seems that they have not interview public but maybe just offer to their own kindergarten girls....I'm also waiting for their interview notice.

其實今年我朋友的細囡無 2ND IN, 佢話明年她們係會再考過 P.1 的, 所以競爭一年會比一年大咗.

I know y my frd told me that if u wanna to get a seat in DGJS, yr kids' knowledge and mental should be 1 more year than actual age

Yes .. you're bingo !
They won't have open enrollment as they normally accept most of the girls from KG and Nursery. They offer waitlist to certain % of the remain girls.

This year, my friend said, all on waitlist is small girl, no matter their performance.

However, when someone gave up the Primary placement, the seat will go for the waitlist so outsider is still hard to get a seat, even send profolio to the school.

Frankly speaking, I don't think their approach is correct........

1 of my frd's daughter born in nov got an offer from their primary school.

I don't like that school Becoz many ppl 走後門 get a seat from kindergarten or primary school

Yes. U r right. But their system is 1 train straight thru, not much space for good outsider, do their standard drop much in recent years.

when I was young being a tutor to teach those girls ( I'm hardly believe that they r so call band 1)

I teach a whole class. I can say their English is good but ........(btw it is not a topic here and I m so rude to those student studying in that school. But the impression between DGS and that school is totally different.)
