I saw  Thomasha has grouped the 2011/12 YW parents together, which is a very good way for the parents to know each other.

This year 2012/13 YW P1 parents, would you also like to know each other here.

Hi all,

Nice to meet you all here. See if you are interested, to form a FB group later for easy communication when we gather more parents here.

Reminded by a very good EK parent, as EK is a public platform, we are better to obtain further personal contact information in a more secure way.

For those who have PM me your personal contacts, I will keep them confidential.

Let us chat here first.  There will be parent orientation before the school starts in Sept, let us meet at that time.

少少分享~ 不要刻意多買特別的物品, 英華好自由吓, 你用什麼都ok. 不同的班主任可能會有他/她的要求, 各位不防只為小朋友準備書包, 文具, snack box, 水樽先, 開學後再按需要加添. 請緊記什麼都要貼上名貼!

功課袋 must buy ~ 透明, 有拉鍊, 網紋膠料, 有名牌, A4 size 那種. 小朋友如果請假唔返學, 個功課袋都要返學, 校務處/校車姨姨交收.

校服/運動衫 各先買兩套可以.
按今年的經驗, 小朋友
5天中有3天穿PE衫的, 但運動衫好薄, 好快乾, ok的. 如果有4天(3天PE堂加早操日)要穿PE衫, 星期六又有課外活動的話, 就要多買一套. 自行決定啦, 小朋友大得快, 多買都未必用得著.

建議用雨傘, 方便D, 小朋友背著書包, 好難自己再穿雨衣, mission impossble. ;p (大個仔, 無人幫的啦!)

每個課室都有洗手盆, 濕紙巾可不必了.

不要買folder, 學校開學後會派一大疊! 年年有! 學校所有通告/功課紙都係 A4 size 的.

小朋友每天上學帶必須品ok啦, 太多 fancy 用品, 只有重死佢, 學校唔比家長代背書包的, 要學習自理, 自己為自己負責.

開學後, 校方會安排影學生相, 有貼紙底, 好方便的, 十元八塊, 唔貴, 不用暑假提早影. 小1影的那張相, 將會係未來6年的學生證相. 約10月中會派給小朋友, 連校方證件帶. 小朋友係可以用自己的證件帶, ok的.

不建議用筷子係因為怕小朋友未識用筷子, 食得慢: 一係無得出去玩繼續努力食飯, 一係算數唔食啦去玩. 你估小朋友選邊樣?

美勞用的圍裙手袖 (?應該唔需要)
鉛筆（any kind ok）- 每天給他5支已刨好的鉛筆, 可帶筆刨
擦膠（擦膠大戰, 聽說玩到P.3都仲玩! 有家長一星期就買一次, 好睇個別小朋友)
原子筆 (老師的特別指示時用)
木顏色 (有時做功課用)
high lighter (optional, 我買比小朋友用作 high light 要寫的生字功課, 快靚正, 錯不了!)
