其實我想大家都明白他們說什麼的，這不是逼出來，只是借機會，沒大問題的呀！就如我也曾找機會向小兒解釋，為什麼會有日夜，地球公轉／自轉，為什麼會有四季，地球傾斜23度，解釋日短夜長等等

但如果個別小朋友識得多嘢 ...

我真係唔知依家D小朋友真係叻左or被崔谷到早熟左？我只知中一最高嗰兩個同學依家係最矮兩個,原來係早發育而唔係高。

DG 的英文真係好深好冷門, 我想一路讀上去如果不是專讀英文的, 中學都未必需要用到此些字, 不過她們學生應付到, 深又何妨, 只是不能作為一般小一課程的指標, 不知DB 同其它出名深的SFA 等會是學咩, 會否有如此深 ? 好奇都想八下.

我覺得好似以前劉家傑教英文,香港人覺得好深,外國人唔會用既英文。真係勁,應該攞過幾次諾貝爾文學獎了！

This is not surprising.

Last year, during the P.1 admission interview, kids were asked to distinguish "low / no", "jag / jack", "had / hat". It was NOT DGJS. It was CKY - a school that advocates happy learning!

SFA primary one English 1st term :

Article (e.g. a UFO, an MTR)
Tense (e.g. make, making, made)
Opposite (e.g. sweet vs bitter, smile vs weep)

非常感謝你的分享, DGS 有這樣的LEVEL ,我不感到驚訝. 值得開心才對. 看見近年的公開考試卷, AL LEVEL, HKCEE,DSE, 相比起十多年前自己所考的, 淺了10-20%. 難得直資/私校,可以提高/保持教育水平.

看來DGS追求native程度的準確，好事。我覺得香港地學英文，除了學術上的、課本上的，其他基本上很疲乏（閱讀大量英文課外書的例外）。我最記得我當日係某大企業的MT，其他MT分別是港大、中大、科大的高材生，結果係由一個英國讀書回來的教曉我們「放屁」，fart的英文

Hi TYYC, actually, I don't think you are showing off or telling how DGJS is great here although I am a DGJS parent too, I think you just want to share the way you teaching your girl.  Parents have their own ways to teach kids that they believe are good.  There is no point to leave mean messages or attacking others with very negative wordings.

I would see what I can do better for my kids that are not out of their capabilities, when I am learning here from other parents.  Of course, those learnings are not the targets like completing business targets. There are too many rumors about DBS or DGJS, some parents like to label them.

In the forum, we are nobody.  Being mean here, gain nothing.  Being polite here, everyone could share peacefully.
