DSS is a slightly different story with similar issue on admission policy when some DSS schools appear to be using public funds for doubtful purpose. Here, we are mainly concerned with government/aided schools under the government scheme. You have indeed asked a very good question: Why isn't this a fair play ground given everyone can use this 10 points? The issue in education is not that everyone (well, not exactly everyone) can use this 10 points but the rationale of giving this 10 points and whether the restriction (based on hereditary) in using the points is justifiable. I have argued that the rationale is wrong and the restriction repugnant. Suppose the government gives each person a licence to kick any person's butt, everyone can use the licence and, according to your reasoning, this isn't unfair when everyone can use the licence to kick. Is it really?

雖然辦學團體是教會，但絕大營運經費是來自政府撥款，而且政府已經很優待學校，讓他們傳教，傳教豈非另類“洗腦”
