Dear all,

My son was accepted by Keenmind N1 AM class and Victoria (Ho Man Tin) Internation class. Pls give comment to these schools, which one is better?

我聽其他媽媽講,victoria好商業化,要比好多什費,又要買一套教材,老師方面,在open day那日,就算帶了小朋友去參觀,也不覺得他們喜歡小朋友,而劍鳴方面,老師和工友都好友善,這些都是我從其他媽媽口中聽回來,不知可否幫到你

請問有無人有這兩間學校的第一手/實際經驗, 例如子女或親友讀過/讀緊這兩間學校, 而不是單憑 interview 的觀察, 尤其在 Open Day 的觀察太多人流, 未必能反映真實狀況, Thanks!

對於n1 ,剛巧我又是心水這兩間 ,又是何文田的維記 ,
本來維記叫我4月11日去面試 ,但係劍鳴已收了我個女了 ,
所以我唔會去維記了 .

論教學而言 ,我不知道兩者怎樣比較 ,
但論學費而言 ,劍鳴比維記平接近1000元

Hi, may I know where is Keenmind? And do you know if Keenmind still have places? Cos I'm having reservations about sending my daughter to Cannon. And I agree about Victoria, I went for a visit and I don't like it cos I observe teachers are not 'into' children, just going through the motion.

The interview is not difficult. Don't worry. My daughter has studied N1 in KM since last Sept. She learned a lot and become more independent. The teachers and staff are nice there.

I also applied for HK Pre-school last year. I am glad that I have chosen KM. My girl got accepted by SC, Kentville, Creative, York for K1 in coming Sept. I believe that her study at Keenmind really helps a lot in the interview for K1.

Hi jc_mom,

Really admire that you daughter is so great to have got accpeted by a number of schools. I've a got a 5-month bb and I'm new to stuffs like nursery or K ... Would you mind advising whether N1 = 2-year-old class? At what time these N1 class will start admission? My boy is a small son (born in Nov)... I'm afraid that these N1 classes won't accept my boy 'cos he still hasn't reached 2 yrs old by September 06. Thanks for your advice in advance.

jc-mom's daughter and my son are school mates in Keen Mind. Don't worry, most nurseries accept Nov & even Dec kids. It's only that these children won't start school in September but instead, when they reach 2 years old. In your case, your son can start in December.

I heard from some friends saying that the 2-yr-old class will start admission about a year before right? If so, I think I really need to start searching for my baby who will start nurseries in Dec 06 as you advised. I live in Kowloon East, so I'll look for those in Kowloon Tong... But on the other hand, I plan to move back to HK side, near to my mother's place... so may also need to pay attention those in the HK side as well.

My lovely Chezkel is 6.5 yrs old la!!
