I also observed that boys always talk with each other in Cantonese, as I always heard some boys speak Cantonese when they line up.

Yes, i refer to ESF TY. But in fact, those boys do speak English well, so just don't know why...
However, girls always speak in English at school because I asked my daughter last night and I pointed out some of her girl classmates's name, she told me they speak English, and then I pointed out some boy classmates's name, she said they speak Cantonese only. I asked her "why don't you speak English with them?", "They don't understand English!" she said.
I don't really trust what my daughter said, but I think kids could have their own circle to play with and girls will always listen to what the teacher or their mummy said, and girl's language skill usually better than boys in the early stage, so I think that's why most of the girls commumicate each other in English but not the boys.

I am also struggling about schools.  I visited Anfield before and found its philosophy is good.  However, ESF Tsing Yi is much convenient for me because I live there.  Do u feel Anfield is better than ESF?  Most parents said the courses of ESF Kindy is too easy.  My ultimate goal is Canadian IS or Shatin Junior.  Any comments?

Thanks...

I now search playgroup to my daughter, is it good to join the course which is/are provided by kindergarden?

I read "Anfield" website... I found it complicated to me to understand the fee structure as they have different schedule....... is it mean anybody can go to school by "money" ??? Please help

I don't think ESF kindy or KBCK have any playgroups. Anfield, Sunnyside and YMCA do.

From the Anfield website:
summer playgroup (Jul 11 - Aug 20)
3 classes a week (MWF or TTS) cost $5,100;
2 classes a week (Tue/Thur) cost $4,200;  
Sat classes cost $2,250 a term.

So it depends how old your child is and how often you want him/her to go there.  The registration fee is $350 for playgroups or prep-program.  

Activity chest or Summer superstars have different schedule and fees.  The registraton fee is $200.

is it mean anybody can go to school by "money" ???

I think playgroups don't require selection interviews.
