All IC parents,

I want to ask some questions about stickers thing.

My son is confusing about the teaher's signature policy.  He said 5 stickers will be trade in a signature, except Chinese (requires 10 stickers).  Is he correct?

He didn't know the stickers on dict. books and workbooks will be count or not.

And also the stickers chart hanging on the door.  If teacher gives him sticker, where he can paste?  On the door or on the book?  What the different?

If he has the enough no. of stickers, how can he ask teacher to sign.  Does he need to show all the stickers in front of teacher.  It is impossible as some of the workbooks are not in his hands.

He has so many questions about that.

Please let me know if you know about that.

Dear All,

Before my son has joined the Saturday Violet class
(15 Oct) and paid by cheque for HKD1,700.00 but
today I found the Class Arrange List without his name, very suprise and just wonder the school
arrangement since I still can not contact the techer.
Anybody has the same case as me??

BTW, laalaay & any 1B parents:

I don't really understand the next Eng.Dict,
GE notes P.5-7 odd number 1-5???

Does it mean P.5-7 the first five verbs ? or
P.5-7 all the odd numbers ?

The Handbook in Intranet today is a bit wrong.
It should be GE notes P.5-7, 1-50 odd numbers instead of 1-5 odd numbers.

SOS,

I want to ask you about the Project Learning - Powerpoint homework.

My son said they need to use powerpoint to do some papers about themself and their family.  4 photos are required.

That all what he told.  But I don't know its content and its form.  Do we need to print them out (includes photos) or send a file to Ms. Leung through email?

Please help.

Why there is no homework for project learning so far?? I can see that other class like 1A and 1C already have a few pieces of homework for completion. Do we have any textbook book for this subject?? or we will receive worksheets?? Pls help.

As far as I know, the Project Learning lesson needs not to bring any textbook and there isn't any homework at all.
I only know that this subject is also taught by Ms. Lai, their General Studies' teacher.

Cyrus told me just to print 4 photos from BB to now, she said only for herself but not for the whole family

I'm not going to send the file to her teacher la.

BTW, have your son join the extra curricular on SAT? Cyrus joins phonetics and oral classes on SAT as well as the school choir on every Day 3. I have give up the musical instrument class la

I have called Ms Fung several times and also sent her imail...but still could not contact her..

My daughter will learn piano from outside la...話之佢la

For the next Eng dictation, do we have to study present tense as well? According to my son's handbook is GEnotes P.5-7 1-50 odd numbers(past tense), but he told me that present tense should be included, anyone can clarify? thks.

I want to know too. Do they need to memorize the present tense together with its past tense, add up together 50 verbs?

Also, the content of the coming Eng ASS, General Studies ASS and Maths ASS has been given today. AH!! The same week three Assessements!!

I have asked class teacher Miss Cheng. She told me that they only need to memorize the past tense ( 25 words), the present tense will be given.

Yes, the same thought to you.

Since I got the school calendar at the begining of Sep. I only know that there is 2 Ass (1 is Eng and 1 is Maths) in October. But according to yesterday's handbook (my son written and school intranet). There will be an Ass for G.S on 25/10, given content Ch.1-7.

Are you kid in 1B as well.

What about other parents in 1A, 1C and 1D, will your kid going to have GS Ass on 25/10??

Dear all p1 parents,

Every time before the exam, there will be assessments on Eng, Chi, Math & GS. The marks will not be counted in the academic report. Just like a revision before the exam. Take it easy la!!

BTW, the exams for other minor subjects, like putonghua, music, etc will be held before the exam week.

I would like to know more about the GS assessment. Do we need to spell all the words for answering those "fill in the blanks" types of questions?? Or they are just multiple choice questions or True/False questions??

Words will be given for "fill in the blanks". You may need to spell some of the important words for short questions. MC & T/F will also appear in the test.

Thank you for your info. But for the short Qns, do we need to answer in complete senstance or just answer with the keywords. Can you give me some examples on the short Qns for reference? Thanks a lot.
