I bought the book for myself but I read it to my 6-year-old son a few months ago. He seemed to enjoy the story but he kept asking questions. Such as 'Why Little Prince had to leave his body?'/ 'Why adults cannot see the elephant inside a boa constrictor?'/ 'Where is Little Prince's planet?' I think kids would be insterested in things that we adults think are not so important (exactly as the author suggested). It is not important to have kids share the same thoughts as you when they read the book. When they grow older, they will gradually have different point of view. |
