I also heard from 2 DGJS students about the plan to relocate after Easter, but when I asked them in which year, they didn't know!

As I need to find a new home for expiry of tenancy by March, my estate agent asked the school today and was told that they would not move until Sept 2009.   It's quite rush to wait after the briefing session to make the decision on where to move.

Hi macy9402,

As far as I know, they plan to move after Easter 2009, although they are trying hard to cutting short the time in the hotel school.  It would be a good news to us if they really cut down to 2 years!

Hmm, but why would you like the estate agent to ask the school for you?  I would be a bit cautious with the information provided by estate agents.    Better you make a confirmation yourself.

Hi PolarBear,

I had the impression that they would move to TKO in Sept 08.  But then here said they would move after Easter.  I'd checked the school web-site saying also that both junior and secondary would be in their "respective hotel schools for the start of the new school year in Sept 2009".  

Hence there'll be still one to 1.5 years to go.  This is a major factor in choosing where to move our home by March.  The agent is simply helping to find the best suitable rental location for us.

Thank you for your information.  ::" />:" />  We are too lazy to check with the school website for so long.   The original plan was 3 years and then shortened to 2.5 years when we learnt it from a briefing session before the summer this year.  At that time it seemed to us that that can't be shortened any more so we just take it as Easter 2009.  Now it says Sept 2009.  It's really a good news to all of us.

Hope you can find a suitable area to move.  In fact travelling from Kowloon Central or East to TKO is not such a long way.  And you may not need to move again after your daughter returns to Jordon Road in her P1.  Just my 2 cents.

Just checked with my friend whose daughter is studying in P.6.  She confirmed that the school will be moved in 2009 Easter holidays.  So you still have more than a year to stick to our current kinder and the Jordan campus.  Ha ha, suggest you move to my estate la.

we will consider your estate also.... but after the school will move back to the new campus in 2011.
