I went to their Open Day in May. They've got very impressive students. Most of them are very active and out-spoken, regardless whether they are P3 or P6. Very confident kids.

I have very good impression on this school, just that it's not through-train.

I went there as well & agreed with you. I asked the students how they enjoyed their school life. Most of them said they loved their school & they had freedom. Teachers encouraged them to be creative. They learnt a lot outside the books & they are proud of themselves.

In fact, my daughter likes the school very much. Hope she could be admitted.

I was even more impressed by their drama 國王的新衣. You can tell that there's been great effort put by teachers and the students are so talented.

If you like TSL (I suppose it's the English environment and it's interactive teaching approach), then you should also pro St. Margaret's. Did you apply?

I missed their drama. But I like their group projects such as Dynamic water pump & solar light pulp. They are primary students only, how smart they are !

I like St. Margaret's very much but it is far away for us & I give up. Apart from TSL, I apply GT (優才) & DGJS. But I don't think my girl will be admitted by DGJS.
How about your kid ?

I've got offer from St. Margaret's. Also applied Ying Wa, DBSPD, & TSL. I may not consider YW as it's Chinese school. Also fancy about DBSPD but I guess chance is slim....

Let's ignore DBSPD, if your boy also admitted by TSL. You will consider TSL or St. Margaret's ?

I've been thinking about it in the last week since I got the offer.  I would take St. Margaret's.

Both schools are very similar in many ways but SMC's through-train education is definitely an advantage.  I believe the school is an emerging one and the student quality should be good so the secondary division will become better (I hope).

Another point is that SMC only accepts 80 students per grade so I think it would give more opportunities to students to participate in different events / activities / competitions whereas for TSL, they have 150 students per grade, the opportunities will go to the smarter few..  And based on my observation, there are familiar faces on the drama show, open day tour guides, and campus TV..

I may not be right, just my little observation & personal judgement.

I've applied for TSL (and 8 other different schools) but my son is not talented in language. He's talented in Maths. I've been thinking again and again what type of school is good for him. For TSL, it is definitely a good school but I think he will not be selected as he's not the presentable type of kids. Anyway, I will take it easy.
