Don't worry too much about the school bus issues. In fact there are currently 30 bus routes covering most of the Kowloon and New Territories areas (except for HK Island), Tseung Kwan O, Sai Kung, East and West Kowloon districts, Tsuen Wan, Tsing Yi, Tuen Mun, Shatin, Tai Po....
However, the actual pick up times, routes and school bus station will only be announced around August each year (time before school starts). It is because the school bus company will need to obtain the final student list from school before deciding on the routes. Thus the school staff will not be able to provide the details at the moment.
Regarding the school uniform, my kid is very happy with it.
Summer
For girl, she can choose either navy blue or white one piece dress (A-shape) with a cloth belt. There are two rows of buttons (total 6 buttons) in the middle front with the school badge on the side. White buttons for blue dress and blue buttons for white dress.
For boy: White shirt with school bagde and navy blue short pants
Winter
For girl: similar design as the summer dress but only one colour - navy blue
For boy: White shirt with blue tie printed with school logos, plus long navy blue pants
The PE uniforms for boys and girls are the same. In summer, it is a white round neck T-shirt with sky blue colar and a pair of sky blue short pants with a pocket at the back.
In winter, it is more or less the same as the summer one but long sleeves and long sports pants instead. There is also a sky blue jacket (track suit style)
However, you will need to buy the socks from the uniform company or the school office as the blue socks are printed with "APS". The price is reasonable and the quality is quite good.
