No, They won't ask you anything.  :
However can get in or not, it's nearby your home.
As pass year, the door open for all parents, no need any invitation letter and nobody to keep watch the door.

As your son is in P.4, do he need to buy any textbook?  Or it is no need any textbook through out the whole primary.

We have no extra textbooks to buy by ourself. Most of the homework the do in their class. School provided all stationery, so my son's school bag only his lunch box and school reading book.

Hi all,

SJS gave out a newsletter this week and said that the waiting list is 1050.  I think this includes all grades from P1 to P6.   There are so many parents still want to be on the list even if their kids are studying P2,3,4 & 5.   The chance is there.   Eg. out of the 30 kids in my daughter's class last year, 4 left this Sept (1 transfer to another ESF, 1 emigrated, 2 left to local school).  There are vacanies sometimes and u need a bit of luck here.

Thank you for your info'.

I'd got advices from few people, incl. the principal of my son's kindy (an int'l kindy which has good experience with ESF). I've now confirmed my plan to apply BHS first, get the place first and then apply for the transfer to SJS.

And, I handed in my application to BHS today. When I was there at 7:30am, I was so surprised that there were just around 10 people waiting !
Anyone also went there today ?

I also sent application to BHS this morning around 9:30. No one on the line. So....I don't know my rank of position. Did they tell you your position? Could you please post here once you got their welcome letter by mail??

Today I had just received the acknowledgement letter from BHS for my son's application. But, nothing special, it does not state my no. (I was no. 1 in the queue ma) and just saying that "we will be writing to you again in the second week of december" ja.

I promised to 'report' to you ma.

Dear garon,

I'd visited SJS as my son has just joined their soccer lesson ! I'm very impressed by the school campus, very big and a lot of facilities, quiet environment, fresh air.

As said, I'd already handed in application to BHS. My plan is : apply for the transfer once BHS admitted my son (luckily). Do you know if there's any problem if I apply for the transfer immediately after BHS's admission ? How long did it take when your friend applied for the transfer for his son ? Cos' I hope my son can start year 1 in April next year in SJS instead of BHS.
