Hey parents,

1) Does anyone know what can be chosen for the instrument class? Is 'guitar' on the list? Was 'guitar' on the list last year?

2) Is it a must to use a 'blue' school bag? Completely blue? Is it ok for the one with some cartoons (mixed colours) while the primary colour is blue?

3) Will all the purchased books(readers) be distributed to the students at the beginning of the year (in advance) ? Or will the individual books be distributed only at the time of teaching (not in advance)?

4) Are there any Putonghua (independent) classes for P2 as Putonghua will be incorporated into the teaching of Chinese Language?

5) How about the class streaming policy? Are the students be randomly assigned to each class? DO students remain in the same class every year?

1. 'guitar' was not on the list last year. It's unlikely that it will be.

2. Yes. School bag must be blue. Some cartoon/design is acceptable, but shall not be too eye-catching.

3. Readers will be distributed only at the time of teaching.

4. Putonghua (independent) classes are available (I think twice a week?)

5. Yes, students are randomly assigned to each class. They'll change class when promoting from Y.2 to Y.3.

1) 我手頭只有2006-2007樂器課的資料, 結他是不在名單內. 以下是2006-2007樂器課的資料 :
Violin, Cello, Flute, Clarinet, Oboe, Basson, Saxophone, Trumpet, Horn, Trombone, Euphonium, Percussion and Handchime

2) 書包基本上是藍色便可以, 有公仔亦ok.

3) 購買的書本是在開學時派發, 但未用時基本都可放在學校. 而租借計劃的書好像是用的時候才派發.

4) 每週是有獨立的普通話堂, 也有普通話書本, CD及作業.

5) 班別好像是隨意安排, 但會平衡男女生數目. 小一及小二原班升, 升小三時才再調班.
