You live in ST, am I right? If yes, of course choose the one that closer to you. BTW, ST LMC is a good school too. (I lived in ST few years ago. So know a little.)

IF BOY, I will chose 高記, 但都depends on 您住邊, 2間school 係2極, so 時間都要考慮
but if kts compare with 高記, i like kts if money is not ur problem.
lmc also a good school, i like the principle very much.

If you live in Sha Tin, Wan Chai is far away for you. Also, someone told me that Raimondi Secondary is band 1 尾.

Shatin 去 Wanchai 真係遠咗d, 假如 LMC 收既話近近地都幾好.

如果入高記的話, K 3 已手執 band 1 英中, 幾爽, 而六年後考頭個批, 從高記升去其他超級 band 1 中學, 數字也不少.

但每日由 Shatin 返 Wanchai 小朋友太辛苦 la.

You should choose the one near your home. Travel distance and time is a big concern. Just imagine, You don't even want to get up early in the morning, how about the 6 years old kids, the sky is still dark but they already needs to leave the home,how about the rainy weather......

I think you can check RC secondary Annual Report on their website - in 2008/2009 -the % of students having 14 marks or above in the best 6 subjects has rose to over 74% with 2 9A 1C.
Also, according to the BOCHK Bauhinia Bowl award 2008/09 info in ranking the sports results of Hong Kong Island and Kowloon secondary schools (note: schools in NT were excluded), RC's boy section (it becomes co-ed in 2008 and the girl's section which is so green did not have significant contribution yet) has total marks of 98 which will rank it in top 10 amongs boys in all secondary schools in HK Islands + kowloon.
I think excluding factor of location and money, RC is far far better.

Shatin has a lot of Band 1 secondary schools, most are just less well-known than the ones in the HK Island. According to this thread:

While I agree RC is a good secondary school and has its attractive merits, there are really a lot of good choices in different districts. Please also carefully consider the travelling time required, whether it might be more beneficial to use the time saved in so many years for enjoying family activities and/or for "add-value" tasks to the child.

The difference here is just minor, some top top schools have 9x% of students with 6科14分, but some schools with >50% might already be considered band 1. There is a high concentration of top (academic) students in some of the top band 1 schools. 貧富懸殊都幾嚴重！
