Ha, by birth month? it is possible, my son is a small boy, born in Nov and our interview time is 3:30pm which is quite late.
Is it true that the school is expecting both parents to go?  The letter didn't mention that.  And I have to work that day, and just my husband will bring my son. You think this is not so good??

We submitted the form on 24/9 morning and our interview time is afternoon.

The letter mentions little about the scope of the interview or who should bring the child there.  Some BK parents say parents will be interviewed at the same time, so it may be a good idea for both parents to attend.

My son was born in Jan and our interview time is early afternoon.

Anyway, no need to guess how the interview is arranged.  Just prepare yourselves and the child well for it.

You may hand in your child's portfolio to the interviewer during the interview... I did it last year~

i'm not quite sure whether the interviewer has viewed the portfolio during the interview or not...
just hand it in if you have prepared one for their reference...no harm at all~

When I submitted the application form, I already attached a 2-page CV containing some background information and a list of extracurricular activities, competitions, strengths, etc.  The portfolio we submitted to other schools has, in addition to the CV, copies of reference letters and certificates.

Don't think so, I apply by post but will have interview in the AM. My friend apply in person on the last day but have interview at 9:00am. May be it turns out to have more applicants then expected, then the school tried to squeeze in a few more sessions iat different time slots!

No need to guess how the school arranges interviews now that the schedule is all fixed.  The only conclusion I can make is: UNPREDICTABLE PATTERN. :)
