女拔的"Other Information"得4頁紙, 真係要好有技巧地運用. 請問你們覺得成績表係唔係一定要放入去? 如果成績表有成四頁紙, 係唔係應該將四頁紙縮細成為一頁? 因為仲有其他資料會充分利用另外個三頁紙?

Do not attach portfolio. That 4 pages is for additional information only

Right - I should rephrase - I don't mean portfolio in the traditional sense, as the application form clearly states that no portfolio will be accepted. But would you say "additional information" is just another way of presenting the info you would have normally included in a "portfolio", but simply without the plastic covers? Such as certs, photos, maybe a cover letter, etc.? If that's the case, then would you say the most recent school report is something that should be included in those 4 pages, and if so, should I try to shrink the multi-paged school report to fit into one page? Thanks in advance for your advice.

Never mind, I cannot believe I missed the one bullet on the application form, that the school report has to be separately submitted, and not included as part of the 4 pages. Thanks for your time.

I'm thinking to spend one page on a cover letter, one page with some certs, one page with some travel and/or daily life type of photos, and one page with the recommendation letter from a previous kindergarten. With the above I'm already running out of room for a simple resume, ie. a list of her extra-curricular activities, etc. But I guess that's probably not very important.

That's exactly what I have done for my girl as well. My husband will hand in the form today.

That's great - good luck with everything! My husband insists that he will be the one writing the cover letter, and I had told him to finish by Wednesday. But being a procrastinator that he is, he is still not done yet! He needs the weekend to finish. So I will have to wait till Monday to submit. Hate to wait till the last minute!

my kid is from Pui Ching, which has primary school, does that mean it will be almost impossible to get a recommendation letter from the teacher or headmistress/head master of the kindergarten?

same here...my husband also insist to write the cover letter for our daughter. I give him the deadline is today. However, I don't think that he cannot finish it today.....

I knew that kind of thing should not be relied on men. That's why I have written the letter all by myself and get everything done on time.

depends; if the man is one who is still playing his iphone no matter he's doing what or still most of his leisure time in PC games then your agrument is correct.

My past experience was to first list out the information exactly like in real CV and then list out the things my daughter learned by category just as to show that I have given her all round education in the first two pages, of course with her student photo. I did not make it fancy, but just like a formal CV of adult. Then I had a brief note of how I nuture her since she was little based on my own teaching belief. Then the third pages just to show how we spent our weekends and holidays with photos and a brief note on how we nuture her by giving her real learning experience instead of just spending hours and hours gaining knowledge in a room or indoors. The 4th page was the reference letter from the principle which I think was important. Especially if you are from a rather famous kindergarden because they can tell from the letter that your daughter is outstanding by the experience of receiving thousands of those reference letters from the same principle.
I hope my past experience helps. I remember the school report was not counted as additional information of those 4 pages. Things might have changed though.
