各位爸媽，有幾個問題請教大家
1，我們家仔仔宜家不在蘇浙小學的幼稚園，明年報名蘇浙小學，機會大嗎？
2，KCS和KCIS有什麽區別？我只知幼稚園有本地班和國際班之分，小學也有嗎？
3，蘇浙小學的英文水平如何？教學語言用英文的科目多嗎？

Yes. They will have some places for outsiders. So no worry
2) KCS is local stream and KCIS is international stream ( more english than Chinese and likewise ). Same applies to the primary school
3) they will only have one English subject. Others are all in Chinese. Can't really comment a lot here as there are a lot of mix 混血兒 in the class and their English is really good. Some Mainlanders English are really good as they put a lot of effort in this subject. As compared with some of the really local Chinese school then the level is good.

KCS和KCIS還是有些不明白，只是幼稚園不同，小學沒有國際班對嗎？

Yes. They are differences.
While KCS is in K3, KCIS will be in Grade 1. They will stay in the same campus for until Grade 2, then they will move to Bermer Hill.

我仔讀本地班小一..
雖然只得英語課是用英文. 怛英文程度算高吧
1/. 他們已讀小二英文課本
2/. 每星期一堂由外籍老師教 story book
3/. 我仔個班有好幾個外籍同學(英國, 德國, 韓國等), 雖然佢地主要都係用普通話溝通, 但我仔話同佢地傾唔明時, 都會講番英文

我囝囝現在讀蘇浙幼稚園(升k2), 希望他可以入讀蘇小. 想請問入蘇小需否考筆試? 我只知道要interview. Thx Thx!

As far as I know, they will only have verbal interview. 重要睇小朋友坐唔坐得定, 唔好挨身挨勢. That is enough

咁要吾要做protfolio, 要吾要/注吾注重小朋友有冇其他課外活動的獎狀?
我見其他mama因為要幫小朋友考私校, 會安排佢地參加好多比賽...
都真係驚驚地..

If you thinking of other 直資 or 私校, I would say Yes. 參加比賽，有冇獎不重要，重要的是俾學校知道你有心培養小明友。 I have friends with no award (but have a portfolio to show the school how you will develop your kid) have been admitted by St Paul Co-ed

So portfolio is important for the school to understand you more. But I think the school will only look at your porfolio when you are selected for the 2nd interview.

即1st interview就只係見個小朋友? 咁2nd interview就會見埋父母, 到時就要準備portfolio?

Portfolio usually is to be submitted with the application form. Of course, if in any case if you have supplement info including nre certificate , you may then submitted during the first interview or 2nd interview.

Yes I have a child studying in KCS now
