My daughter told me that total : 7 pages. Chinese/English/Maths/Chinese listening/English listening/drawing/1 forget?
It's impossible for a kid to complete 20 pages in 1 hr. If this was true, it's a crazy school.

As I know, they have opened the toilet for the boys and girls. From my experience, the school has arranged some of their students to take care of the interviewees. You can tell the teachers if your boy (or girl) need to go to toilet. Then the teacher will arrange their students will take very good care of them (even hold their hands) and accompany them to the toilets.

Not crazy! Every year, there are children who have the ability to complete them and being selected to the school. Simply it's a matching game, the school requires children who likes to write and read very much, then the children with such capability can go there and get what they want. If your child is not that type, it is not a problem of your child or the school, you just go and get a school that matches your child's quality.

睇 20 張紙寫得满唔满，啲字大唔大隻啦。

SFA窮過很多津校，無可能咁浪費紙張，咁唔環保嘅。七張紙都好多啦，如果用到20張紙，咁就抵鬧啦。

So far when I read the Forum here, it seemed that some parents are blaming on the SFA, the numbers of Interview papers, the difficulaty of questions, etc.

What I want to express is that before parents decided let their son/daughter applying this school, they should have done some study and got info of the school. It's really a higher standard school. The successful applicants to SFA are really smart. They are all able to tackle a number of exercises, HW papar, CW paper.

My son is studying there, he feels and studys very happily in SFA.

So it's definitely not a "crazy school"

I don;t think so. Their arrangment very bad. When I quite I told the teacher my daugther need go to toilet and she said that the techer will bring them go toliet before test. However, finally my daughter wait for until finish exam and see me still not going to toilet and I ask for why. She said that the techer not engouh manpower to bring them go to school as so many kid hand up. She told them keep wait and until see your parent. And, that is differcult to fined a toliet over there.

20頁紙?? 一定冇可能, 個日成千幾二千人去考，2000x20頁=40000，咁咪要斬好多棵樹，ｄ老師改都改到手軟啦，會唔會係20條 instead of 20頁呀?

I agree a little bit differcult for the testing. But, I see there are many of maridian and english ambossaor to make a 問卷 and the student also very enjoy that is very good feeling for me. So, I think it's a good school also.

I know kids have to do some papers. I just said if the kids had to complete 20 pages. "It's a crazy school." But I know it's not, they only had to do 7 pages. I asked many parents, their answer were the same. 7 pages.

I think it may not be too exaggerated. To my knowledge, 7 pages, front & back will equal to 14 pages! However I believe there may be a big space for colouring and drawing, and most of them are pictures for children to tick and cross.

如大家覺得唔識合自己小朋友, 咪如果佢收你地咪唔好讀佢law, 呢個世界冇兩全其美的事嫁啦, 要去玩呢個遊戲, 咪要接受佢o既ruler law....

因為佢考完之後重覆又重覆咁同我講,所以記得好清楚,
不過口試可能不會佔很多分,主要分數都應該係份卷.

Dear all,

I am also a frequent visitor to this Forum, but I seldom make comments.

However, this time I would like to support some of aoj's comments because we share the same view in general, although not 100%.

I also feel that:

1) Before parents decided to apply for this school for their son/daughter, they should have done some research and got info of the school. Therefore it's no point blaming SFA on the numbers of interview papers, the difficulaty of questions, etc. The school has the same selection practice for so many years. As demand for seats is/was always very much higher than supply, I think SFA has the 'power' to select the students they wish to accept through the selection approach they think is appropriate. This is a "market driven" concept.

2) My son is studying in SFA, and he also enjoys his school life very much.

So, as aoj said, it's definitely not a "crazy school".

The above are only my personal views. I hope they won't be offensive to any of the parents here. We all wish to give the best to our children, I hope all your children will have a happy primary school life!
