From SPK topics in BK, most TKO parentes are using Mrs Lai's school bus.  But one thing I still concern is whether my child needs to change to a big bus in Nam Tin.  If yes, I will try to sources another driver.

Provide by one BK & TKO mummy, I had contact another driver Mr Wong.  He said if we have a group around 5 students in TKO, he can start a new route from TKO to SPK.  (If there are students in Nam Tin & Yau Tong, it will also go to pick up them).  He said he also had SPK and Ture Light now, but most of them are from Kwung Tong and Kowloon Bay.

Do any TKO parents feel interest, please pm me your loaction.  If we have about 5 students (PM session) I will try to liase with Mr Wong.

Hello,MaMacanday,
i have also contacted "Mrs Wong" before i think that my daughter will be studied in SHK,but i am not sure is that the same person as you.
My daughter also is pm session ar,i also concern about the changing school bus process ar,Mrs Lai told me that they will renew the arrangement in the coming new year term,it depends on how many persons.
did you ask Mrs Wong some more details?How much is that?She told me that about $1600 from Sh to Tko,but i didn;t ask her after SPK's result recieved.
Did you know that is there a assisstant in Mrs Wong's school bus??Since i can't see the assisstant in the school bus one day when i came across them.
Anyway,i would like to ask more to have comparison ma,and choose the best one for our child,right!!
Do anybody interesting in it also!!

keep in touch,
mamacandy told me that we should get much more informations before we make the decision.
Certainly,i would like to be gather with you and mamacanday ar,since i would like to make friends with you 2!!hehe!
Then,we can share with each others,and our child can make new friends with each others ma,you know even they might not study in the same class,but they will be very friendly with each others while travelling with their "school bus journey"ma,right!!

Dear all TKO parents,

I called driver Mr Wong today and had the following initial agreement:
1.  Routing:
TKO--> Nam Tim-->SPK
Not need to change another bus
Yau Tong is not the point must to go

2.  Student:
Major for SPK, most likely will include Ture Light students.  But the pick up/drop off time is benefical to SPK student.  As Ture Light's school time is 1:00 to 4:00, & SPK's shool time is 1:00 to 4:30, there is not bad effect to SPK students.  But after school,  Ture Light students have to wait for 1/2 hr.

3.  Transportation Fee:
Initially $1500/head/mth,  if more student join, can be reduced some.

4.  Transportation Time:
Time spent in TKO (already include all pick up point) is about 25 mins.  Time spent in Nam Tim is about 15 mins.  So total time from the first point to last is not more than 50 mins.

5.  Mr Wong will show up on 3 June.  If we intend to take his bus, he will meet us after the parent's meeting.  So we can further talk to him.

6.  Anyone want to contact him, can call 9343 4622.

As I know, ambrose050309 is contacting Mrs Lai and gathering more details for comparism.  Let's wait for ambrose's news.

Currently, I know 5 students's mummies are interest to the issue.  Let's summarise below:

I called Mrs Lai,she told me that:
it is the second last pick up point of my place at 12:00,then Ocean shores will be the last pick up point in TKO,then the bus will go to Lam Tin (Vui Keng Garden),--to Eastern Subway--to SPK

The school bus only pick up SPK student.

The time of arrival to school is 12:35.
and 5:15 pm for me to pick up the child in my place.

it might not need to change the other school bus in the coming new school term.(i have asked her for 3 times separately in this issue,i think she knows that it is the master point that i will take hers or not,so she did much more confirme to say that it might (mostly) not need to change other school bus.)

$1550/head/month,$500 reservation fee.

Mrs Lai said she also would be turn up on 3rn June,but (commercial speech) it is better to confirmed and reserved the seat on May,as she claimed that SPK does not like them staying outside the school on 3rd June.

anyway,don't be hurry,we have to think about it and choose the best one for our daughter!!

Hi All Experienced Mom,

My daugther is a small girl (born on Dec 04), we would like her to study in SPK, but I'm a working mom, she's our first child and we have no experience at all, seems like my daughter has very small chance to get into SPK, can you share your experience with me and advice me what should I prepare for the interview and any experiences whether SPK will accept child if they cannot speak in front of the teacher during interview??

There are good info in this thread.  Take time to read and you will find info you needed.

I didn't know how they tested my girl as parents were interviewed the same time and I didn't ask my daughter after that.  Sorry for not helping much in this area.

If you really like your kid to join SPK, just give a try.

佢地多數唔揀細女，我都係去當玩下咁，你唔駛太緊張的。雖然我都勁想入呢間學校，我仲係校友，但我同學個女上年都考唔到，我勁唔開心呢。

I found that for this year application, they accept children who borned from Sep 2003 to Dec 2004, so seems like they really prefer big children....
