Yes, the school called me 2 days after the interview to grant the offer.
So your daughter will be in P1 next year? If so, our daughters will probably be classmates

Yes, my daughter will be in P.1 in Sep 2006. If we finally pick St. Clare's, then our daughters will be classmates and we can meet in person!

As I said before, I joined the central alloaction for St. Mary's. Really hope that my daughter could be the lucky one. Anyway, I personlly find St. Clare's a prestigious school. As I've mentioned before, we live in Mei Foo and the travel distance is somehow a concern to me. To be honest, I won't be in such a trouble if we live in the H.K. island and we'll definitely pick St. Clare's. We have another choice which is True Light (Kowloon Tong) and I called up the school on Friday to see if they will arrange an orientation for the new girls. The staff gave me a negative answer. I talked to another parent who has a girl currently studying at True Light (Kowloon Tong). She shared that its chinese level is pretty high and english level is normal. Somehow, my preference still goes to St. Clare's even though I live in the Kowloon side. Do you know anyone who manages private school bus service thats covers both the Kowloon and H.K. side?

但在教署公布的100間"英文學校"當中, 這些學校都是"上榜"的。

The EMI schools announced by EMB are all Secondary schools because the policy is formulated for secondary schools only.

EMB has never set any language policy for primary schools.
