問小一的成績能代表將來的成績嗎?

Hi all,

我的小朋友第一次考試成績全級90名, 全級150人, 平均分83分, 第二次考試成績全級74名, 平均分88分, 我想問他現在的成績是否代表將來五, 六年級的成績也是如此, 我是一位緊張的媽媽, 每次考試前2-3個星期必定會和他温習, 但無奈他的資質比較平庸, 在考試中遇到較刁鑽的問題, 便不懂得作答, 想問有經驗的媽媽, 小一的成績跟小五, 小六的成績似嗎?
如何能提高成績? 是否須要每天幫他重温當天所教.

名次方面: 半年進步了16名, 即2.78年後會考第一.
分數方面: 半年進步了五分, 即1.2年後會100分.

我覺得低小的成績唔代表高小的成績! 其實低小學的野會容易d, 到高小會深d 同需要理解!

你小朋友的成績都已經進步緊啦, 放鬆d, 唔好比太大壓力比自己同小朋友, 他只是小一, 仲有五年呢!

呢位媽咪太緊張啦.
我唔係要刺擊你.想當年,我阿女小一時,除咗math,只得8字頭,其他都滿分,唔滿分都有95分以上,但到咗五,六年級,成績就.....math 就唔合格,其他科就7/8字頭.
呢位媽咪放鬆Ｄ,小朋友都係一年級啫,仲有好野佢要適應同學習,其實小朋友都算唔錯吖.

你太緊張了,小一成績唔代表小六成績,止要小朋友成績有進步就唔使驚,有d小朋友比較遲開竅

I am nervous as the secondary school net of my district is poor, only one EMI school. If my kid's academic result of primary 6 is the same as primary 1, that means he will enter into a band two school. As my kid's primary school only have 40% band 1 student.

I am not saying band two school is not good. But to be honest, I hope he could enter into band 1 EMI school.

Only one EMI? TKO?
Even though for a Band 1 student, the chance of getting into it is low. Luckly there are quite a lot of EMI DSS there.

Please relax...

Our education system changes a lot, one EMI doesn't mean one EMI 5 years later...maybe the system will totally change at that time...Nobody knows..

Your child's result is already pretty good, don't push him/her and yourself too much!

小朋友成績有上有落好正常，好似我個仔咁，p1-p2 都9x分，仲全級考第6'tim'，但到p3-p4發覺佢係咁跌，得7-8x分，連名次都無得排，p5-p6可能佢有咗過往經歷，令佢學會緊張自己成績，e家雖然唔係好高分數8x，但呢d係佢人生中嘅少少考驗，未尚不好。relax relax

想當年：
我由幼稚园至小學：年年頭幾名，上台攞獎。現況:中學畢業(f.5 repeat)
我表妹(年紀相若):由幼稚园起，尾嗰幾名，現況:Master degree，高薪厚職。

每個人的成長過程中，會有好多變數！

I do think that band 2 schools are not good enough because I was a teacher at a band 2 school many years ago and at that time there were 5 bands. Except for the top 2/5 students who were studying at elite classes, other students simply did not behave during lessons, even at F.4/5 level. The teachers could not teach them too many things because a lot of time was wasted at class discipline and a lot of time was just doing translation. (At that time almost all the secondary schools were EMI schools.)

But for your case, even there is only one EMI at your district, it is not an issue. You can move home to a district with more band one and EMI schools and do not choose schools from the district of your primary school. An alternative is to study at a DSS in other districts.

Just like what other BK parents here, I do not believe that P.1 school results represent school results in their future years (just from personal observations).
