Hi,

I only know KAU YAN with a good reputation and has it own primary school.  I hv applied both KAU YAN and RHENISH MISSION  too!

Can Anyone share more experience with us?

關於面試, 等我quote番之前有位媽咪既留言:

禮賢會
Part 1: 在課定內等候叫名逐個見校長，小朋友由父母陪同一起見校長，校長會問簡單問題，例如姓名、年齡、怎樣來到學校，喜歡什麼玩具等... 之後校長會俾粒糖小朋友，要講多謝。

Part 2: 一班約3-4個小朋友一起入另一班房玩玩具，不可由父母陪同，老師會跟每個小朋友一起玩，其間會問問題，例如: 這是什麼玩具、什麼顏色、什麼形狀....等

Dear teresa

I have applied my son to Rhenish as well... Thanks for the interview tips... I heard that Rhenish is very well known for producing "well behaved" children and place the importance in being respectful to teachers and other schoolmates.... what is your view..... aslo, could you please kindly share what school would you like your son to go for primary ?

you can do it in chinese, it's just that it is difficult for me to type in chinese so that's why this is in english.... thanks ahead....

My daughter also will attend interview on 02Dec. Have you applied for St stephen's church and Kau Yan? I appied SKH but don't know success or not. Any other good kinder in Central/Western district that you have applied for?l

你說得對！很多人都說禮賢會的孩子很守禮，這也可以說是。而我都是因爲這個理由所以送仔仔到這校讀書。

記得在仔仔K1的學校旅行（11月），我見到他們個個都已經學懂禮貌，老師叫他們排隊他們就會排好，見到校長/主任也主動叫“X校長早晨，X主任早晨”。在回程到學校後，當我仔仔下車時，校長站在車外的行人路揮手和小朋友說再見，我仔仔居然鞠躬說"X校長再見”，這是我意料不及的。我想他們可能訓練日子有功吧！

另外，他們也注重説話時要舉手。我自己帶仔仔出去參觀時就更加明白老師這訓練的成效。當一群孩子圍著講解員聽降解，講解員問問題時，其他的孩子就衝口而出說答案（當然這是很自然的！），但我見次次我仔仔都要舉手才說出答案，那我就知道他們在學校很慣這規矩的。

以上純粹是我自己的觀感，希望不會太hardsell. 每一所學校總會有些獨特之處讓你欣賞，同時當然也有些地方比不上其他學校而需要改善的。

至於小學，我還在等消息呢！下個星期一就會有結果了！

I heard that the syllabus of Kau Yan is lower.  However, Kau Yan has primary (private) school to back-up.

My son is studing in Rhenish Mission School and their caring is very good.  All the teachers can remember all the students.

The only comment is the premises.  Their new premises is under renovation and they are out of space now.  

Do you know if St. Stephen's Church good or not?

Thanks for sharing your experience..... I have the same worry as CarrieTse as well, the premise.... They will be building a new one and finish in sometime in 2006, the day i went to submit the form, it seemed like everything is happening inside the church and running out of space..... sometime I see their gate is not closed when some kids were having the exercise in front of the church.... so i get quite concern about safetyness....

however, i am not too worry about the level of academic, as long as the kid is happy and learn all the basic manner and be a good person to the others and that is good enough for a very pleasurable kinder life for my son.... thank you..
