hi all mummy,

thank you for all your sharing about KV... i want to apply KV for my baby too

if i plan my baby to study at KV, any pre-nursery school will you suggest and is good for getting into KV... please please please kindly give me some advise....thank you!!!

I don't think pre-nursery is necessary! I knew that many children never join pre-nursery before study at KV. Just relax and play more with your kids.

i think it depends on the character of your child and also the family condition.
if your baby is the only child of your family and he/she is shy to communicate with others. i suggest your child to join the pre-school.
as my case, my son is the only child, he always felt shy to talk with others. i wanted him to be more active and easygoing. he joined the nursery finally on Sept, 2007. after2 months "soical training" he became more active. when he attended the Kg interview on Nov 2007. i found he was no longer a baby, but a big boy. he could answer all the questions correctly, he could even sing a song as the teacher requested at the interview.
so, the pre-school learning is truly worthy for my child

agreed. 我個係獨仔, 都無讀過pre-nursery, 佢今年9月會入讀 kv.

我個仔無返過Pre-nursery，亦無上過興趣班，只返過兩次 playgroups。其實 KV interview 的問題很生活化，面試玩的玩具反斗城都有得賣，最重要是小朋友早點到場熟習環境，看看魚輕鬆吓，面試時唔怕醜肯講嘢、肯唱歌、有禮貌、離開時推返張櫈及拿完糖說多謝，我想應該無問題啦！

我囝囝今年在 Kent Road K1，請雙子媽媽及 joemyt 媽多多指教

我又係係度煩緊呢個問題, 本來無唸住給囝囝讀pre-nursery, 但唸住想考kv, 讀咗pre-nursery會著數啲.

因為囝囝係工人, 所以講英文多, 中文就不係咁好, 我驚佢到時不識答問題.

kv會考小朋友啲咩ga?

其實我覺得唔多唔小係講彩數, just like 大人去見工一樣

至於考咩, 其實之前都有一個類似的topic, 好多人問過, 妳試吓search 吓, 我記得有以下:

- 2個老師對2個(小朋友&家長), 有d媽咪話一開始時一個老師即時開始問佢野, 而另一個同時間問小朋友, so 佢唔知考左個小朋友d咩. 而我就好d, 老師一開始同小朋友傾計, 問問吓先開始問我. 我記得老師問佢(1) 叫咩名 (2) 指住張application form上小朋友張相問係邊個. (3) 指住我問我係佢邊個. (4) 羅d個玩具大麵包出黎比佢cut, 睇吓佢cut唔cut 到. (5) 砌圖 (6) 羅本大書出黎, 問佢書中的物件, 我記得亞囝當時睇張圖畫係浴室, 因為o個時老師已經開始問我問題, 我淨係聽到亞囝答毛巾 (7) 顏色matching, 比something like lego的積木佢, 叫佢搵返同色的物件 (8) 叫亞囝唱歌. 我記得呢part 之前係砌圖, 圖中有一隻狗仔. 咁砌完, 老師話"不如我地唱隻歌比狗仔聽好唔好" 亞囝答"好". 老師又話"咁你想唱咩歌呢" 亞囝"ABC". 於是2個老師同我(我個part 已完成)就一切拍手掌, 一齊同佢開始唱(連老師都有), 跟住我地越唱越細聲, 變成亞囝獨唱. 唱完, 2個老師又拍手, 攪到亞囝鬼咁開心

. 至於我個part, 老師第一個問題就問(1) 平時係邊個湊佢 (2) 佢鍾意食咩 (3) 幾時戒片 (4) 可唔可以自己去小便等等, 大部份係睇妳對小朋友的了解有幾深.

最後in 完, 佢比張form小朋友羅出門口, 交form後老師會比一兜糖小朋友叫佢羅黎食, 目的係測試小朋友有無貪心羅一大'炸', 仲有識唔識講多謝. 我個囝羅完之後, 跟手問"媽咪, 你要唔要

" , 我答"唔要", 佢話"點解, 有妳最鍾意的提子味wor(係瑞士糖), 咁都唔食". 我都唔知好嬲定好笑. 跟住講句bye-bye就走人. 我回頭見到老師係亞囝交張form都寫野.

唔知仲有無溜, 如果有麻煩其他媽咪補充.
