My girl is studying in P1 in St Clare's. She is an emotional & sensitive girl. We had been very headache in choosing primary school for her last year. As she is quite good in English, we chose St Clare's for her. My husband and I have never expected that this school suits my girl because we think that traditional way of teaching might scare her. Unexpectedly, she likes this school and study well. The teachers are very caring. My girl can therefore pick up with the syllubus , though quite demanding, in a short period of time. There are many dictations, test & exams. As such, both the student and her parents will get use to revise the homework and will not find it a big problem to prepare for exam. She can continue her interest group like painting lesson, english playgroup etc. Without pushing the kid too hard, I can see her learning skill are improving every day. To me, I believe that finding a school which suits the child's character, ability is more important. This is just my opinion, I hope it would be helpful to you.
