Do u mean that a TL parent said they learn a lot of vocab.?
I think both are very good schools.
Both use 活動教學, and happy school life. TL seems a bit more traditional(some student that i met seems to be quite shy), SMM student seems to be more outgoing, just my impression, don't know right or not.
And TL have their primary and secondary school too which is good.
We went to interview in SMM, and their environment is nice, spacious and clean, i like it. The principal and the teachers there are nice and sincere.
