PN Interview 好似以好遙遠咁! Let me try to recall: The child will be interviewed by a teacher. Both parents can accompany the child for the interview and you can choose the interview language. The teacher will ask the child and the parents questions, but the questions are quite simple. For the parents: Where will you usually go with the child during weekend? What games you usually play with your child? Who is normally responsible for taking care of the child? So, the questions are relatively simple, no special preparation are required.
Questions for the child: The teacher will show something to the child and ask what that thing is. So, you train your child to be familar with the apple, banana and grape, and various kind of colours. This will help. You also need to train your child to greet the teacher and say Bye when leaving.
Overall impression, if you have no connection with KCS (like alumni), remember to choose PM class also as competition for AM seat is very very keen.
2 cases to share with you, a mum only choosed AM class as she did not want her girl to go for PM class. Her girl's performance was OK, but her girl did not get an AM offer. She did not have the chance to be in the waiting list as the waiting list of KCS is supposed for PM places only.
Another friend of mine choosed both AM and PM class. Her son wanted to eat the grapes during the interview, of course, the teacher did not let him eat and he cried and did not answer any questions. So, her son had no offer but she had the chance to be in the waiting list for PM class, eventually, she was given a PM seat in next July (though she choosed Victoria finally) when some mums declined the offers.
I also know some people had a PM offer and succesfully waited for AM class. Thus, remember to choose PM calss in your choice if you are eager to enter KCS. |
