依家o係咪幼稚園再唔收學生o嘅Personal Profolio? 申請時唔收、in o嘅時候又唔收呢?  我個女o係超細女(剛趕得切12月截o個批)，我怕佢in時仍掌握得唔喺幾好，希望加埋本佢既Personal Profolio，畀校長老師多d認識到佢。

但是，我朋友上年同小朋友in時話從未見有家長遞過Personal Profolio，叫我唔駛花精神做，所以，請各位多多指點。

apply幼稚園係唔洗做portfolio, 不過有d家長會做, 有d幼稚園都會收, 有d唔收, 會唔會increase chance, 我覺得應該唔會, 小朋友咁細個, 試問有mud可以include係portfolio? 又唔係家長比$$比小朋友上果d playgroup, 平日d生活照  etc...可以比人知你好有心機..咁係唔係會increase chance呢? 應該唔會...
你要有心理準備, 你個係12月細女, 可能一間心儀都唔收, 因為competition太大..我個上年都係一樣, 如果想佢入一間好少少的學校, 比佢讀多年做大女好d..呢d係我上年的經驗...

咁你又唔洗咁消極...事實上有d學校係寫明唔收9月之後出世小朋友, 如培正, 真光..

你喺聖心度出post, 應該係想apply佢地, 我都有需要同佢地defend一吓 (事先declare, 無利益衝突haha, 我個女仲讀緊d local k, 諗住今年再apply ..),shck 算好好, 有收細囡的, 有11,12月的...; 如果你apply spk, 8月打後出世d小朋友nearly 0 機會..

Just wanna clarify if you want to know if SHCK will review portfolio submitted by parents for their kindergarten application?  or for applications to other local kindergarten in general?

Just my personal opinion, I wouldn't consider the kindergartens do not appreciate the efforts from the parents on preparing the portfolio.  However, I believe it would be even more meaningful to find out the care and good guidance from the parents on bringing up the children and display that through the interview.  How many certificates the children has accomplished or what they have done as captured in the portfolio is only snapshots of their young life, but their manners and interaction with others are the kind of behaviors which can further display the family values of the parents.  If you target a kindergarten which has such philosophy, then whether they are big or small B, it would not be a factor to affect their chance to be admitted.
