I received a call from WKF today regarding a re-assessment this Saturday. She said that this is not a 2nd interview, but a re-assessment. Anyone got this call also?

I don't know what is a re-assessment but she told me that it may take an hour.

之前問d staff 話, 有d 學生一take 過就pass, 唔駛再in. 但有d小朋友要call 多一次再in. 原因係校長想睇清楚至收.


再in 都係一件好事, 至少知道學校睇中你小朋友想睇真d, 努力, 比d 心機.

re-assessment? what does it mean? are they interviewing the parents too?

i went to the website and found that it is quite confusing:

"考生成功通過面試，並如有需要進行家長面試，將作另行通知 "

does it mean there is 2nd interview for all shortlisted? or only 1 interview?
i forgot whether they have mentioned it in the seminar!

so they will have results in early Oct?

I am afraid no one can give a definite answer.

Even in the admission seminar, the principal's reply to parents' questions were ambiguous. When being asked about the communication on second interview & results announcement, she only said the school will inform the parents.

The process is simply not transparent.

以我所知，應該係將會收既小朋友，佢哋既父母就會有所謂既2nd in，但係試過上年豬流感好厲害，結果浸小無in家長就已經收咗，之於今年如無勁"病毒"，理應會安排2nd in家長.

My friend's daughter last year only attended the 1st interview and got the offer accepted and did not ask for a 2nd interview, but last year some kinds were asked for 2nd interview.

May be this year with the same practice, some get offer after 1st interview, no need 2nd interview.  But some are required 2nd interview before getting the offer.

There were also cases last year that they put some students in the waiting list after 1st in, then eventually got the offer without further interview.
