私立 - practice depends on individual school. Some private schools let you have the lucky draw and some don't. You need to check with each school or refer to different topics in this forum for information.
直資 - Yes, you have to give up lucky draw. You will be required to sign an undertaking to that effect upon 留位.
You can accept offers from another DSS or private school even if you have already accepted the offer of another DSS/private school. However, please be considerate and release the place to other parents as soon as possible because some less fortunate parents may be really desperate hoping for a place in a good school.
