I didn't give any special training to my 2 sons who are P2 & P1 in this coming September but they read a lot of books with me over last few years.  I guess it may help to get an offer from SMC.

I also didn't train my daughter in any special ways. She only learns drawing outside school. So, her portfolio is lack of certs of any competition or exams.
As same as the kids of sharon123, my daughter likes reading quite a lot.

我的個人觀點:
小朋友的英語有一定水平，因面試時大部份都是以英語交談。
小朋友喜愛閱讀，包括中、英文。
小朋友有一定自理能力，1st面試好像是遊戲模式。
家長認同SMC的教育理念和方向。
一定要有誠意和真誠。

Though SMC is not the most famous school right now, there were so many parents let their kids to study at SMC. I think there will be more than 1000 kids to interview the school and about70-80 new p.1 are chosen by them every Aug to Dec.

我想女兒入讀SMC, 現在女兒只是讀普通的幼稚園. 我要點樣幫她才可以順利考入這學校呢? 面試時是否用英文呢? 女兒的英語水平不是太好. 請有經驗的媽媽分享一下.

learn Mandarin & English and let your kid read more books.

As I remember, they will test the kids Chinese, English and Maths via the games.  If the kid pass all the tests, you will be invited to attend the 2nd interview that will be conducted by Vice-principal.
