昨天收到學校信關於2012-13 first term usage fee. 我剛剛致電學校詢問有關2012-13學費:

Half day (AM): $3,675 (9:00-12:00)
whole day: $4,840 (9:00-3:00)

原來half day 係同whole day同學一齊上堂, half day的到了12:00便放學, whole day 的便留低至3PM

7月中左右會有新生會, 到時會有更多資料, 包括校車.

大家會選擇half day or whole day?

I hv picked "half day" (K1) and I hv paid the usage fee to school already! Payment deadline is 27th April!

我還沒付usage fee，還在考慮是否讀這間學校，這間學校太low profile，很多家長都不太了解所以都無從得知到底好不好，老師是否有愛心，課程內容是哪方面…等，有聽說小學老師校長有些問題，這些問題解決了嗎?

我今天已經交左錢，因我仔係插班K2, 都有擔心課程問題。但今日同校長傾完，了解多左好多。由於我是今早9點去學校，見到學生都好乖，老師都好照顧學生，校工老師見到我都好有禮貌地講Good morning. 整體感覺良好！其實要了解學校，真係要自己親身去問，去睇。希望各SJC家長可保持聯絡，交流學校資訊。

Which schools are on your list as well? Lets share your concern about SJC. You may visit the school during school time. Most of the school time principal station in Kindergarten section. For a very formal visiting, I don't think you are allow to do so that may interupt the classes. You may see general environment and hows the students and teachers doing in the school during the school time when you visit.

I may not say SJC is the best school. You have to visit more often and see that school suit for your kids or not. Everyone have standard of expectation of kindergarten education.

Nicky, I'm not formal meeting.
我係交錢時見到校長，我順便問下佢嘢，佢都好nice, 肯答我問題。至於學生老師方面，我都係自己觀察。其實只要返放學時候去學校門口，都可以見到好多嘢，又可以同真正的家長傾下計。

我仔係插班k2, 主要都係了解k1課程係點，等我幫亞仔預備涵接k2。校長話k1英文要認、寫、讀(included phonic sound) A-Z 大小階。數學要識數、寫 1-20，識分多、少。中文教左簡單單字，要識寫。另外仲有一d常識呀，科學呀。。。
但校長話，其實面試時全英文，小朋友聽得明，做到老師要求，我地先收，因為佢地全英語學習，英語好重要。
我仔現在係英普班，所以唔擔心佢轉過嚟聽唔明，反而係擔心佢寫字問題，因現在佢都未正式開始寫字，我會暑假加強番佢寫字呢方面。

我大女當年都係插 K2 入SJC, 開始時有D 吃力, 尤其是書寫上, 襯Summer 同小朋友練習多D! 我个女下學期巳經完全適應晒! 唔洗太担心!

我仔都係插班K2, 剛剛去交費。見到小朋友返學時好開心，排隊冼手入課室。
跟住同的家長傾談，佢地好滿意呢間學校。課程好，language 強，中文可能較遜色！見到校長在門口接小明友入校，好nice, 好好人！
家長話佢地唔係用本地的英文課程，功課大部份在校內做，留小部份在家完成！不過都幾谷！
今天見到小朋友著不同國家的服裝返學，好得意。原來今個星期係international week! Interesting!!!!

我都覺得校長好nice, 唔知有幾多k2插班生呢？會唔會編埋一班呢？上次忘記問校長呢！

Littlespicy, I also visited the school twice when they got off the school around 3pm. and I talked to the teachers there too. You are right, going there in person is the best way to get to understand the school.
