請問播道書院中學部有精英班嗎？
另見學校簡介說會用有效方法教中英數？很有興趣知道，尢其是數學科，真的有用嗎？

我小朋友現在也在一家直資學校讀，但數學科與傳統教法沒有分別，學生做錯什麼便當著全班責罵，全不顧學生感受，造成惡性循環，令數學本身較弱的同學更加不喜歡數學．．．我的小朋友已開始有放棄跡象！完全達不到我當初選擇直資的原意．

如果還有其它好的直資學校介紹的話，希望各位多給意見．
好的定義是令小朋友有興趣學習，校風良好．

HI! 我都是將軍澳的家長, 小兒9月升中一, 我對播道不太了解, 因此校只開了很短時間. 相反我想問問你的兒子現在讀那一間直資中學?　因為我都想了解其他直資學校的情況．．　是不是直資一定是好學校！

My son is S.1 student of Evangel College, there is no 精英班. The school is so far so good, according to the school philosophy. We are very satisfied and grateful that my son studies at Evangel College.

My son's math improves - he was a bit confused in percentage calculation before, after a day's self-study right before the exam, he concluded he managed and needn't our further explanation. Afterwards he got high score for the exam, so he really managed !

I haven't heard him complained about school/teacher, most of time he shared his fun school life.

Tks very much for your feedback, looks like EC is a school I should try. Have read the link you provide, I suppose secondary section also has many varieties of extracurricular activities as primary section, not many people mentioned abt this before?
Also, is there chinese history lession in EC?

Hi 鍾太,
直資學校各有特色，水準也參差不齊，而且大都歷史較短，沒有太多往績可參考，相信認同學校理念是一個頗重要的選校因素．我個人對傳統的教育模式並不認同，所以一開始已沒有考慮參加電腦派位．
我為女兒選現在的學校是因為該學校較多band 1生，我當初以為有利於營造學校氣氛．誰知女兒派到非精英班，這本來也沒有什麼，問題是其中有數個女孩子的思想行為甚有問題，形成了一個負面的圈子．再加上數學老師太傳統的思維和教學方式，有錯就罵，學生成績差就把責任推到學生身上，說學生從來未有問她功課（試問一個如此對待學生的老師，如何令學生主動去接近）．再加上學校普遍對待行為偏差的方法是懲罰，令學生自我形象越來越低，所以令我決心轉換學習環境，希望能夠找到一個正面，有愛心的校園，讓女兒享受學校生活，畢竟她還有五年的時間，而且每天留在學校，和老師同學相處的時間不比家人短．
至於是哪一家學校，我也不便多說，是在九龍區，不是將軍澳的．可能是我們運氣差，碰上這些同學，遇到這一位老師，其實有些學生也讀得不錯的，所以，最緊要都是自己判斷甚麼最適合自己的子女．

Happy Mother's Day to all mothers.

There are quite a lot of extra-curricular activities for secodary students of Evangel College, to name some at my knowledge :

- sports - volley ball, athletics, table tennis...
- music - choir, winds instrument, orchestra
- English club, photographic,

You can surely find Evangel College being 正面 and 有愛心. But I am not sure if there's any spaces, as each class is quite full, around 37-38 .

There is China Study - covering geographic of CHina and Chinese History.

Actually, I took my daughter and husband to visit the school this afternoon. They like it immediately.
I hope we could have the luck to get a space for the coming term.
