I just looked through their web-site. I was really touched by their hard work during this H1N1 period.
They created different greating video eveyday for each class. All the teachers appeared on the video and sing the song together.
My son is studying in PN class. I was suprised that they had different video for different topics even for PN class!
Compared to SC, there is nothing apart from the notice that the school fee will be increased next year!

My daughter is also studying in victoria's playgroup, teacher gave me some learning materials this afternoon, and asked me use E-learning to sing songs and do some activities with my daughter.

When my daughter saw her teacher through the internet, she was so happy. I'm so grateful that all the works they have done for my kid.

Besides, my girl is also studying TT playgroup, apart from the school closure announcement, I have recieved nothing at all. However, I have recieved a call from her class teacher this afternoon, and she told me that they have decided to resume the playgroup class tomorrow.

Yes, SC also got nothing during this period. To be honest I really don't like SC. I feel regret that my elder son left Victoria.

I know that from other threads, it is really hard to get a space in victoria PN class, is it true? How was the interview? Was it hard? I really hope my girl could study in this school.

The interview change a lot these few years.
For my 1st son, the kid went into classroom 8 ( the big classroom for playgroup) with one parent. The kids could play any of the toys and the teacher would approach each kids one by one. They mainly asked simple questions, just like what's you name? what's this (pointing to the puzzle)? For parent, simple questions also, like who took care of the kids at home? something like that. After that, it's the english story time, they observed the student's response.
For my 2nd son, it's just like a condensed playgroup session. The children needed to put plastic coins into a box, they needed to sing the song with the teachers etc.
The most important thing is that parents need to have a seperate interview with the teacher nowadays.

My girl was admitted for the 09/10 semester in Victoria HG campus.  During the interview, she was group with the other children around 7 ...

1. They firstly played toys for @5 minutes.  T
2. A story time to see their concentration and responses...
3. sing & dance session.
4.  Lastly, children played around in the classroom whille the teacher approached each parent and kid for an individual & causal chit-chating... asking who will taking care the kid, what language they normally adopted, etc...

Cos my girl attended their playgroup b4 and she was so familiar with the environment, so i believe it should be a little advantage....

Victoria is a nice school, although their school fee is comparatively high, you can see how much resources they spent for your kid...

they also welcome those little kids (less than 2 years when the semester commences) , age is not their concern...

如果playgroup, 通常要排一年, 而家已經太遲.

讀pn就要今年報. 如果k1就出年先報...

Yes, they accept small Baby and they normally group the small babies in the same class for better caring as they know that they can't have the same pace w/ elder kids...
