thanks God that my son has been shortlisted in both dbs and spcc luckily. presuming that he is being selected by both schools, and i have one younger daughter and live in kowloon side, what will be your choice? appreciated for your advice.

SPCC - because of your daughter, the traffic to school is okay even you live in kowloon side, 有褓母車過九龍, 不需擔心, 而且有好多學生住九龍.

請問是否可以說多一點有關spcc的褓姆車在九龍區的覆蓋情況? 另外, 不知新界區又是否有覆蓋呢?

Depends on your son's character and whether he is more comfortable in speaking in English or Chinese. SPCC is a school that uses Chinese as main medium of learning, as opposed to English in DBS. Personally I like SPCC but some kids are more suitable for DBS. Both are good schools.

thanks for the sharing. honestly, i do think my son suits dbs more, he is outgoing, jovial , creative but sometimes mischievous.  however i'm really afraid to go through the same application process for my daughter in a couple of years later, i might opt for spcc if my son is lucky enough to be chosen by the school at last.

ps. this game really drive me crazy, the pressure from this is much harder than the job recruitment for myself.

我會揀DBS,因為係你仔仔讀,將來米等你個女自己去考,況且如果你仔仔揀spcc都係幫到你個女小小,因為始終係要睇你個女interview時表現,如果你覺DBS good for你個仔,你應該比你個仔讀,因為始終佢要讀6年,唔好就個女而揀錯學校

就算哥哥在spcc
都未必進的去
有關係人太多了~都未必可以全收

我也是覺得要看孩子
為孩子個人做考慮
看他適合哪一個學校

兩學校都是很棒的~

Totally agreed.

The traveling time is another big issue (it's not a concern if you car drive them to school), but it is always ignore by the parents when they choose (I can't imagine if my child need to wake up at 6am everyday)  it's not difficult to opt in/out as their location is completely different.

If I were in the situation, I will go for SPCC.

In fact, both are top schools.

The whole admission process makes parents crazy & exhausted. A little help to younger sister is BETTER than none.  

See... lots of people, including myself, hope they were in Group A (70% of seats wow!!). In SPCC, Group A is always better than Group B, agree?

Since both are good schools, perhaps it's time to ask your son, which one he prefers, ask him to pray to God first and make the decision.  A child's instinct (after prayers) may help in choosing the two schools.  Don't worry, both are nice schools and I think either one is perfect for your son.
