I am a NC parent and received the form to enroll as member of PTA and upcoming elections for 2009-10. Just curious if any parents can share some previous experience concerning the level of involvement required as committee members of PTA? What sort of experience can really contribute to the organization?

Thanks Sindy for the information. Anyway, I have decided to participate this year so hopefully will get elected. Even not, will still try to involve as sub-committee to support other activities.
