I plan to send my child to UK to study, if I go with her and I stay there (we have 居英權), am I eligible to be a guidance? How to apply to be a guidance?

你的意思應該系 "Guardian" (監護人) instead of "Guidance"?

如果你意思系監護人既話﹐ 既然你有居英權﹐而個個又系你既孩子﹐我吾系好明白點解需要apply 做一個監護人?

雖然我不熟悉英國既制度﹐ 但據我理解﹐需要監護人系因為小朋友未成年﹐而父母又不可在身邊照料﹐所以就有一個監護人﹐權充父母既角色。

as you know, living in UK means a lot of money, so I am thinking of working as a guardian so as to earn so money as well.

我明白你既意思喇。
但似乎你應該搞清楚3樣野。

1。 做監護人系無錢收 (well, 何況你都系監護自己個小朋友)
2。 不論你做咩工作﹐據我理解﹐國家應該需要你有一個working permit, 表示你可以系當地合法工作。呢個應該同你想做咩工作系無關係。
3。如果你已經有working permit 既話﹐同你以小朋友父母既身份或是監護人既身份應該系無關係。

However, I can't guarantee what I just said is 100% correct since I am in the US not UK.

I'm still in Hong Kong.  May be I have not made myself clear, what I want to ask is that whether I could rent a house and take care3 of my own child in UK and at the same time be the guardian of other children who study abroad from HK? Why I raise such question, it's because I notice that many parents who send their children abroad to study in UK need to find a guardian there to take care of their children during school holiday, and from the post of other BK parents in this forum ofoversea study, it seems that parents have to pay some fee to the guardian to take care of their children during holiday. So I just want to know more about being a guardian, do I need to get a working permit in such case?

Either you work as a guardian for your friends to earn a living or you can try to apply as a guardian in those association in UK.  You should search from the internet for more information.

Hi Dailam

Looking after three kids is not easy.  Especially if you do not know the area well, and make sure you can drive. I often see the children joining the local community quicker than their parents.
